Stolen: White pottery bowl with black stripes, 12 to 15 pieces of turquoise, Corral and Silver jewelry, $600 value.

Victim reported sometime within the last two or three days, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into her studio and stole aforementioned items. Case is under investigation.

Supect: Amberly Daina Archuleta 32 YOF

Supect arrived at district Court for scheduled appearance and was remanded for failing to follow conditions of release.  Suspect was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center (SFCADC) where she was booked accordingly.

2024000151 / Unattended death / 01-08-2024

Location: Sloman Ln Santa Fe, NM

Decedent: 73 YOM

Deputy responded to location in reference to an unresposive male. Family was unable to reach him by phone so a friend went by to check on him when he discovered him unresponsive. No signs of life were observed. Cause of death appears to be from natural causes. No foul play suspected or observed. 


2024000147 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal damage to property / 01-08-2024

Location: Villa Orilla Dorado Santa Fe, NM 

Victim: Estancia Homes

Reporting person reported he discovered while conducting his walk-through of the residence, the suspect(s) entered the home, possibly using a key as no forced entry was located. Once inside, they stole a thermostat and a tank-less water heater. Damage was caused to piping when they removed the water heater. Case is under investigation.

Location: Rancho Viejo RV storage on A Van Nu Po, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 2019 Tan Forest River Camper bearing NM-45114RVC

Victim reported sometime during the last week his camper trailer was stolen from a storage facility. On scene, the suspect(s) used a torch the cut the fence open to gain access. This case appears to be related to case #2024000128. Case is under investigation.

Location: Rancho Viejo RV storage on A Van Nu Po, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 2018 INTE Cargo trailer bearing NM-55855TRK

Victim reported sometime during the last week his cargo trailer was stolen from a storage facility. On scene, the suspect(s) used a torch the cut the fence open to gain access. The trailer was later recovered at a residence in Santa Fe.

Victim reported after sending an intimate picture to a person, they in turn demanded money and threatended to send the picture to family and friends if money was not paid. Case is under investigation.

Location: Lopez Ln Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: John Flores, 37 YOM

While conducting an operation at a residence, John Flores was identified and confirmed to have two active warrants for his arrest. John Flores was placed under arrest and booked into Santa Fe County Jail. 


Case #2024000124 Aggravated DWI, Negligent Use of a Firearm, Speeding

Location: US 84/285 Mile Marker 179, Santa Fe

Arrested: Justin Montoya, 25 YOA male, Espanola

Deputies responded to assist Pojoaque Police on a traffic stop with a non-native American male. The male was stopped for traveling 130 mph in a 65 mph zone. Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
