On August 7, 2023 deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Eugene who had outsatnding warrants for his arrest. The warrants were for failing to comply on forgery charges. Eugene was arrested and booked at the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Tools, .22 caliber rifle, ammunition
Deputies were diaptched to the above locatiion in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival deputies learned that the residence was unlawfully entered and several items were stolen. A camper on the property was also unlawfully entered and a .22 caliber rifle was taken from inside.

Subject was stopped after failing to stop at a posted stop sign. Subject admitted to consuming alchoholic beverages before driving. After submitting to SFST's, subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject was booked into SFADC without further incident.

Arrested: Sigifredo Chacon-Lucero, 33YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person's call for service. They advised three individuals were walking around with hammers, looking into cars. Upon our arrival, the suspect fled and was apprehended. During the apprehension, he spit on a deputy. Two controlled substances were found on his person. Original Charges for Warrant Service: Case#4731- Shoplifting, Case#4730-Robbery and Larceny, Case#4729- Burglary of a motor vehicle and larceny. Subject was transported and booked into jail accordingly.

Stolen: Currency (Gift Cards Value $8,000)
Deputies were dispatched to a fraud call. Deputies learned on July 31, 2023, the victim noticed his computer screen was frozen, and a pop-up box was displayed with a telephone number to call. The caller called the number, and the suspects advised the victim to obtain gift cards to unlock or fix the computer. The victim did as he was told and realized the incident was a scam.
2023004715 & 2023004716 Auto Burglary

Deputies responded to two reports of vehicles which were broken into. Between 3 and 7 pm on August 6th,2023 someone pried open the doors to the vehicles and stole misc. items from the vehicles. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Nancy Olivas 42 yoa female Santa Fe
SFRECC received a phone call reporting a range rover driving all over the world. Deputies located the vehicle parked in the area, with the driver asleep at the wheel. Subject advised she was driving to Santa Fe and submitted to SFST's. Subject showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested. She provided two breath samples which were more than twice the legal limit. Subject was booked into SFADC.

Arrested: Daniel Bobadilla-Valdez 20 yoa male
SFRECC advised of a reckless driver. The vehicle was located and observed to be speeding. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver showed signs of intoxication. Subject submitted to SFST's and was found to be impaired. Subject was arrested and booked without incident.

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Deputies learned the vehicle was unawfully taken from the above location on August 5, 2023. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and it was returned to the lawful owner.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies learned the above vehicle went missing on July 25, 2023. The owner of the vehicle stated that she believes the person who stol the vehicle is her ex-boyfriend.
