Deputes were dispatched to the residence due to the suspect assaulting a threatening his mother with a knife. Arrest warrant was approved for the suspect as he barricaded himself inside the residence and refused to come out. Suspect was apprehended later in the evening without incident and booked accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect had battered the victim, a household member, during an argument. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Adam Benavidez, 22 YOA male, Dixon NM
Deputies observed a vehicle speeding on NM 106 and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Last seen on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Alfonso left his residence and is believed to possibly be staying with an unidentified friend. He was last observed wearing a blue in color, hoodie; beige in color, pants; and black in color, flip-flops.. Alfonso may be in a red in color, 2000, Chevy S10. He has been entered into NCIC.

Traffic stop was conducted on a reported stolen motor vehicle. Driver was also driving on an invalid-revoked license. Driver also had an active extraditable warrant for receiving transferring a stolen motor vehicle. Subject was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Deputy responded to location and learned a unidentified male who was working on vehicle had no signs of life. Efforts to identify the male are ongoing. Death does not appear to be suspicious. No signs of foul play observed or suspected.
