Arrested: A. Hickerson 38YOM
Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, signs of impairment were detected. SFST's were conducted, and impairment was detected. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

On July 29, 2023, Deputy responded to location in reference to a breaking and & entering call. Once on scene, it was learned unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered victim's garage and may have reprogrammed their garage remote. Nothing appears to be stolen at this time. Case is under investigation.
2023004507/CSP of a minor

Location: Loma Manzanita
Deputies took a report of a CSP of a minor. The report was made by the mother of the victim, who took the victim to St. Vincent Hospital to be seen. A Detective from the Criminal Investigations Division was contacted, and met with the victim and mother at the Hospital and took over the investigation.
2023004503 / Aggravated DWI, Reckless driving, Leaving the scene of an accident / 07-27-2023

Location: Las Campanas Dr Santa Fe, NM
Arrest: Begley, Lori 70YOF
Deputy was dispatched to location after Las Campanas located above suspect who crashed her vehicle. Once on scene, Deputy discovered suspect crashed her vehicle drove off and was later located by security. An odor of an intoxicating liquor was observed. SFST's were administered and signs of impairment observed. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Location: N Shining Sun, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: Stihl Chainsaw and padlock
Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. Once on scene it was learned unknonw suspect(s) made entry into a residence and a pump shed on the property. Dressers in the drawer were rummaged through and a padlock to the pump shed stolen. Only items that could be identified as missing are the aforementioned items. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Reed, John 35 YOM
Deputy was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Jail in reference to an inmate having drugs on his person. Once on scene, it was learned the inmate was suspected of having narcotics and placed into a dry cell. After sometime had passed, as the search of the inmate and cell were commencing, Correctional officers located a clear plastic bag containing suspected fentanyl and suspected methamphetamine. Suspect was charged and rebooked accordingly.

SUBJECT ARRIVED AT DISTRICT COURT FOR A HEARING. SUBJECT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR TWO ACTIVE WARRANTS 2023004498 AND 2023004499. SUSPECT WAS THEN TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER IN SANTA FE NEW MEXICO WHERE HE WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY.

SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED PICKING UP A PURSE WHICH BELONGED TO SOMEONE ELSE. INSTEAD OF TURNING THE PURSE IN HE LEFT WITH THE PURSE AND ATTEMPED TO USE THE CREDIT CARD(S) INSIDE. SUSPECT ALSO SPENT THE CASH THAT WAS IN THE PURSE. SUSPECT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY UPON RETURNING TO THE COURT HOUSE. HE WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED AND BOOKED AT THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER.

INSTEAD OF TURNING THE PURSE IN HER AND THE MALE SUBJECT LEFT WITH THE PURSE AND ATTEMPED TO USE THE CARD(S) INSIDE THE AND SPENT THE CASH. SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY UPON RETURNING TO THE COURT HOUSE FOR SERVICE. SHE WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED AND BOOKED AT THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER.
