Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a cardiac/respiratory arrest. Upon arrival, the deceased was in the bedroom and showed no signs of life. It was learned the deceased had a history of medical issues. Foul play is not suspected. OMI responded to the scene.

Case#2023004238/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/7-16-23

Stolen: Black 2015 RAM 1500

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival it was learned the vehicle was stolen sometime between July 15, 2023 and July 16, 2023. The vehicle's keys were inside the vehicle. 

Case#2023004239/Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Larceny/7-16-23

Location: 10-C Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Backpack, 9mm Handgun, Cologne, and check stubs

Deputies dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim parked his car at the above location. This morning, the victim returned to the car and noticed the suspec(s) unlawfully entered his vehicle and took the above items. 

Case#2023004212/Missing Person and Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle/7-14-2023

Missing: Austin Ross, 25YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Maroon 2001 Nissan Frontier

Deputies responded to a missing person. Upon arrival deputies learned the above subject had not been seen for sometime. Victim also stated the above subject took their vehicle without permission. Subject and vehicle were entered into NCIC.

Arrested: R. Aguilar-Torres 23YOM

Deputies were called to the above location in reference to assisting another agency.  Pojoaque Police advised they stopped the above vehicle for a traffic violation.  Contact was made with the driver, and I detected an odor of alcoholic beverage, observed blood shot watery eyes, and slurred speech.  SFST's were conducted and impairment was detected.  The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charges.

2023004218 Receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle & warrant arrest x5

Arrested: Anthony Quezada (Santa Fe/ Espanola)

SFPD issued a BOLO in reference to a 1980's model Toyota Truck which was stolen, SFPD also provided a photo of a male who was operating the vehicle. While on patrol the vehicle was located in the driveway of the listed residence. The male who was pictured in the SFPD bolo was located near the vehicle, still wearing the same clothes in the BOLO. The male was identified as Mr. Anthony Quezada. He was also found to have 5 active warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into SFADC without further incident.

Location: 5000 block of Agua Fria (Agua Fria)

Arrested: ALLSSYA BACA 30 yoa female 

The subject was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop, the subject was found to have an active warrant issued by the First judicial district court. She was booked into SFADC without incident.

Arrested: Shane Benavidez 34 yoa male (Pecos)

The subject was stopped for a speed violation. During the stop, the subject was found to have 2 active warrants for his arrest. The warrants were issued by the Santa Fe Magistrate Court and the First Judicial District Court. The subject was arrested in to SFADC and booked without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the location. Victim advised she checked her bank account and observed it overdrawn due to 25 unauthorized transactions. Unknown suspect(s) used her debit card to make purchases. No suspect information at this time.

Arrested: Joshua Romero, 27YOM, Espanola, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation, it was learned the suspect threw a cellphone at the victim. The suspect was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.
