Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash. Driver submitted to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Subject was arrested and agreed to chemical testing. Subject was booked into ADC with out incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a burglary. The Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence and took several items from within. No suspect information at this time.

Location: NM 14 and Fire Place, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Angelica Munoz, 29YOF, Bernalillo, NM

Deputies were conducting a close patrol when they observed a suspicious female coming from a newly developed subdivision. Deputies contacted the above subject and discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest. While searching her purse after being arrested, Deputies located four pills believed to be Fytenol. The subject was transported and booked into jail without incident—warrant: Possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident. SFST's were administered and signs of impairment were observed. Subject was arrested and agreed to chemical testing. Results were 0.20g/210L-0.20g/210L. Subject was booked into SFADC with out incident.

Arrested Filomeno Vargas Mendoza 22 YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

Deputies responded to a vehicle fire and a DWI investigation was conducted. Driver submitted to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. He was also found to be driving without a license. Subject was arrested and agreed to Chemical testing. Results were 0.18g/210L-0.18g/210L. Subject was booked into Santa Fe ADC with out incident.


Case#2023003781/Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property, and Falsely Obtaining Service/6-22-23

Suspect: Guadalupe Altimareno, 36YOF, Santa Fe County

Taken/Recovered: Power Meter (Value$1,000), Energy Useage $88.00

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to fraud. While on scene, it was learned on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative was conducting a power meter check at Santa Cruz Housing. During the inspection, they discovered one of the meters had been taken and moved to the above-listed residence. It is unknown exactly when this happened; however, the power meter was moved back to its original spot. The suspect will be summonsed to court for the above charges.


Case#2023003775 Burglary 06-22-23

Location: Jimson Weed Ct. (Rancho Viejo Area)

Deputies responded to reports of a burglary at the listed address. Investigation revealed an unknown person, entered the victim's residence and stole a Macbook Air laptop computer. No suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing. 


2023003768/ POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE & BRINGING CONTRABAND INTO A PRISON/ 6/21/2023

DEPUTY ASSIGNED: R. WEBER

LOCATION: SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER

SUSPECT: ALEXANDER LUCERO 26 YOM

ABOVE STATED SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED FROM A CORRECTONAL FACILITY IN NEW MEXCIO. PRIOR TO LEAVING THE OTHER FACILITY SUSPECT WAS ASKED IF HE WAS POSSESSION OF ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS AND SAID "NO".UPON ARRIVAL AT THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER SUSPECT WAS FOUND IN POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. SUSPECT WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY. WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Stolen/Damaged: Catalytic Converter ($500), Vehicle ($3,800)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, it was learned the victim had parked his vehicle outside the residence; when the victim returned to the vehicle, an unknown suspect(s) cut and stole the catalytic converter from the vehicle—causing $3,800 in damage.
