Arrested: Frank Vigil, 25 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies located a vehicle that had been involved in a collision at this location. Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Location: Senda Mescal

Victim reported he was introduced to an investment opportunity utilizing Bitcoin. Victim said he ultimately sent $4800 through local ATM’s to an unknown location and was told he had since made a return on his investment. When Victim went to withdraw his earnings, he was told he owed $6000 dollars in IRS fees. This was when he realized he was defrauded. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Nathanial Ortiz Lopez, 26 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies dispatched to assist Pojoaque Police. Deputies learned the suspect had stolen two bicycles from Buffalo Thunder. The male was located with the stolen bicycles and arrested. The male also had an outstanding warrant, case number 2023006405.

US 84-285/ La Puebla Rd

Traffic stop was conducted on vehicel for not being able to dive within its lane of travel. Driver agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Subject was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Vehicle was stopped due to registered owner having an extraditale warrant. Warrant was issued for Agg asault with deadly weapon.  Subject was placed under arrest and booked into SF ADC with out incident

Arrested: Ben Martinez, 85 YOM

On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, deputies took the above male into custody after he was found guilty in District Court Judge T. Ellington's courtroom for second degree murder and tampering with evidence. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility and booked without incident.

Subject was stopped for a lane violation and had signs of intoxication upon initial contact. SFST's were conducted and signs of impairment were observed. The subject was arrested and refused to submit to a chemical test. The subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Subejct was stopped for having expired registration. Subject was showed signs of being under the influence and field sobriety tests were conducted. Subject was arrested after showing signs of impairment. Subejct was arrested and submitted to a breath test which revealed a .14,.16 BrAC. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Subject was stopped after his vehicle was observed sideswiping a guard rail. Subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject provided a breath sample which revealed .18 BrAC. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.
