Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for a non-working tail light on a vehicle. Contact was made with the driver who advised he did not have a drivers license due to it being revoked for a prior DUI. The revoked license was confirmed, and driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Deputy responded to location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation it was learned the suspect battered the victim during an argument over her cell phone. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

2025000794 – DWI – A Van Nu Po / Avenida Del Sur – Deputies responded in reference to a male, Reymont Cantil 47 YOM passed out behind the wheel. Deputies made contact with male who admitted driving and drinking. During SFST’s he displayed signs of impairment. He submitted to a breath test with results being .15, .16. He was booked into jail.

Deputy Pool observed the vehicle failing to maintain its lanes of travel while heading northbound on US 84/285 near MP 180. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver displayed signs of impairment. She agreed to a breath test and had a breath alcohol content of 0.18 0.19. She was booked into SFADC without further incident. The vehicle was towed by Bob’s Towing.

On February 08, 2025, Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at Jose Alfredo Ln, after receiving a call from an 8YOA female reporting her father had a knife and was attempting to stab her mother. N. Roybal was arrested for two counts of Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Child abuse X2, Battery and felony criminal damage after he threatened his wife and teenage child with a knife. He was located hiding on the property behind a shed. No injuries were reported at the time.

The subject also had two active arrest warrants for failure to appear on charges of distributing a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen vehicle, battery upon a peace officer, resisting, evading an officer, careless driving, and trafficking a controlled substance. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque Police with a traffic stop because the driver was non-native. The driver had a valid-revoked interlock driver's license, which required an interlock to be installed. However, the vehicle the subject was driving did not have an interlock installed at the time of the stop. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.
