VICTIM STATED ON SUNDAY 5/21/2023 SHE OBSERVED A LIGHT GO ON IN A TRAILER ON HER PROPERTY AROUND 2:30AM. VICTIM SAID SHE DID NOT GO OUT TO CHECK BUT WAITED TILL THE SUN CAME UP. UPON A CHECK SHE NOITCED THE ABOVE STATED ITEMS WERE GONE. NO SUSPECT INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

SUSPECT: IVAN J. ATNECIO 31 YOM
ABOVE STATED SUSPECT WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON INTERSTATE 25 WHEN HE STRUCK A VEHICLE FROM BEHIND. SUSPECT THEN HIT THE CONCRETE BARRIER AND LEFT THE SCENE. SUSPECT WAS LOCATED AT SR 599 NORTH BY DEPUTIES. UPON CONTACT WITH SUSPECT HE SHOWED SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT. AN INVESTIGATION REVEALED HE WAS DWI AND PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR AGG DWI. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO JAIL WHERE HE WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INCIDENT.
2023003093/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/05-21-2023

Location: Camino Del Corazon, Edgewood, NM
Stolen: On Sunday, May 21, 2023 deputies responded to the above area in reference to a stolen backhoe. Contact was made with the victim and they advised the backhoe was stolen between January, 2023 and May, 2023. The victim was unable to provide a make or model for the backhoe. It was not entered into NCIC due to a lack of identifying information. This case remains under investigation.

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, deputies were advised to contact a family member in reference to a missing person. The caller reported that the missing male hadn't been seen since 05-12-2023 when he was released from jail. The caller stated the male is known to frequent Albuquerque. He was entered into NCIC as a missing person.

Arrested: Armando Madrid 50 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Subject was traffic stopped for driving a vehicle which was bearing a plate that did not belong to the vehicle. During contact, the subject was found to have a warrant issued of our Rio Arriba Magistrate Court charging failure to appear. The original charges on the warrant were Agg. Assault x2 and Felon in Possession of a firearm. Subject was arrested and booked without incident.

Location: U.S. 84/285 and Viarreal Street, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect Vehicle: Silver 2 Door Jeep Wrangler
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim who advised while sitting at a red traffic light, an unknown male smashed their passenger rear window with an unknown object. The subject then got back into their vehicle (silver Jeep Wrangler) and fled south. This case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Laura Hartwell 55 yoa female (Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to the Downs at Santa Fe in reference to a suspicious person. Contact was made with subject. She was found to have an active arrest warrant out of the Rio Rancho Municipal Court for failing to appear on a DWI charge. Subject was taken to the SFADC without incident.

Subject was contacted while being served a restraining order. Subject was found to have an active arrest warrant for failing to appear on an original charge of breaking and entering. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.
