Deputy was dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arriving at the location it ws revealed that the above stated suspect did batter the victim and was found to be the agressor. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detetnion Center where he booked accordingly without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the address reference criminal damage to property. Unknown suspect(s) used a blunt object to damage a door. Entry was not made. No suspect information at this time.


Case #2023002845 Larceny, Criminal Damage

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a larceny. Deputies were advised that unknown suspect(s) pried open their mail box and stole mail from within. No suspect information at this time.


Embezzlement of a vehicle or motor vehicle, Possession of a controlled substance (METH)

Suspect/Arrested: T. Smith age 42

Location: US 84/285 Pojoaque 

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a stolen vehicle located by Pojoaque Tribal PD. Suspect was in possesion of the vehicle. Suspect had perviously rented the vehicle from Enterprise rental company and failed to return it. Suspect also had in her possession a substance consistant to that of Methamphetamine. She was booked into SF ADC without further incident.

Arrested: Lino Acuna, 36 YOM

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an ambulance assist. A caller reported a male sleeping in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the male was found to be occupying a vehicle which had been previously reported stolen. He was placed under arrest without incident. He was later transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. The male also had two active bench warrants, which were found to be valid. Mr. Acuna was also booked into the detention facility on the two active bench warrants. 


2023002820/Burglary (Auto)/05-09-2023

Location: 600 Block Chicoma Vista, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Maria Miramontes, 31 YOF

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to larceny. Upon arrival, it was found that the above suspect had unlawfully entered a vehicle and had removed a bag containing an electronic device. The suspect was later located in the area and she was placed under arrest without incident. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, she was booked accordingly and without incident.

Suspect: Unknown

Vicitm has been in contact with suspect for several years. Suspect has told victim outlandish stories to get money over that time period. Today suspect told victim his kids were being held by TSA in another country and she needed to send him $250.00 to get them out. Suspect told the victim if she didnt he would expose nude pictures of her he had got from her over the time she has been in contact with her. Victim called Sheriff's Office to report the incident.


Case#2023002778/ Burglary of a motor vehicle and Larceny/5-5-23

Location: 174 Tesuque Village Road, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Keys, Identifying Information, Backpack.

Deuties were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Deputies learned from the victim that her jeep had been broken into at the Tesuque Post Office on 5-4-23 at about 5 p.m. An unknown person made entry into her locked and alarmed Jeep, through a slightly cracked passenger window. The unknown person removed a small brown vinyl backpack, which held her spare house and Jeep keys, driver's license and misc. credit cards and S.S.# card.

Location: 1 Block of Alcalde Loop, Eldorado, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an ID theft. Upon arrival, it was learned the victim received a telephone call from two unknown individuals stating that she had a warrant for her arrest due to a social security issue. The suspects advised the victim that she needed to transfer money to quash the alleged actions. The victim did not transfer money, but the suspects did have her identifying information.

Location: 100 Block of Camino De Roberto, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Matthew Gomez, 32 YOM, Santa Fe County, NM

Deputies were investigating a seperate incident, when the above subject was located in a vehicle with the door open and asleep. Deputies made contact with the above subject and learned the subject had a warrant for his arrest. Deputies placed the subject under arrest, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail without incident. Original Charge: Larceny and criminal damage (Case# 2023002775), Criminal Damage to property (Case# 2023002777).
