Case #2023005802 Aggravated DWI

Deputy Assigned: R. Vallejo

Commander Entering: Cpl. B. Lattin

Location: Gills Way, Santa Fe

Arrested: Janel Romero, 41 YOA female, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference a disorderly conduct. While on scene, the suspect drove back to the location. Deputies observed signs of impairment. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.   


Case #2023005801 Battery Against A Household Member

Location: Camino Don Fidel, Santa Fe

Summons: William Trujillo, 27 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an after the fact domestic. Deputies were advised the suspect battered the victim, a household member. A summons was issued.   


2023005789 / Forgery, Fraud / 09-27-2023

Deputy assigned: K. Whyte

Location: Verano Loop, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: 81 YOM

Deputy made contact with victim who wanted to file a report in reference to unauthorized charges on his bank account. Deputy learned unknown suspect(s) somehow obtained his bank account and altered the check for $4800. The check was cashed in Washingston state. Bank staff cancelled transaction and notified victim. Case is under investigation. 


2023005785 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal damage to property / 09-27-2023

Deputy assigned: J.A. Lujan

Location: 5 Camino Valle, Santa Fe, NM (Dollar General in Eldorado)

Stolen: Packs of cigarettes, cell phone, numerous amount of other merchanise

Deputy responded to business after employee arrived on scene and discovered the store burglarized. It was learned unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the business by prying open a back door. Once inside, they broke the glass to the cigarette case, cell phone case and stole multiple items. Surveillance cameras are currently under review. Case is under investigation. 


Case #2023005778 / Revoked / Careless Driving

Location: 466 NM 599 Frontage Road (Santa Fe County)

Suspect: Cody Kesler (52 YOM)

Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the suspect for a traffic violation.  During the stop, it was learned the suspect was operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked with the arrest clause attached.  The suspect was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.


Case #2023005774 / Burglary / Larceny

Location: Horseshoe Loop (Santa Fe County)

Stolen: Ice Chests; Front, Harley Davidson Tire; Motorcycle Lift; Solar Panel; Dishes; Extension Cord; Misc. Clothes

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a larceny.  Deputies learned between September 25 at 3:30 pm and September 26 at 12:30 pm several items were taken from around the outside of the residence.  Deputies also learned that the suspect entered an unsecured RV and stole items from inside.  


Case #2023005761 Recieving transferring a stolen motor vehicle 09-25-23

Assigned: Cpl. G. Nieto 

Entering; Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: NM 599/ E. Frontage Road

Arrested: Jimmy Archuleta 32 yoa male (Santa Fe)

Subject was observed driving a vehicle with no license plate and driving in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was attempted, and the subject fled the area. The subject drove the vehicle into a field behind the Valle Visa subdivision where he exited the vehicle and was arrested. The vehicle was found to be stolen. The registered owner advised he wanted charges pressed. The subject was also found to have two separate warrants for his arrest. The subject was booked into SFADC on charges of aggravated fleeing, receiving transferring a stolen motor vehicle and the outstanding warrants. 


Case#2023005764 Agg. Stalking, Breaking and Entering, Agg. DWI 09-25-23

Assigned: P. Hein 

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr

Arrested: Kenneth Lewis 43 (Santa Fe)

Location: N. Sierra Place (Santa Fe)

Deputies responded to reports of the subject engaged in a domestic dispute with his estranged wife. Upon arrival the subject had fled the area. Investigation revealed the subject had entered and punched a television causing damage over $1000.00. Deputies were called back to the residence about an hour later, as the subject had came back to the residence. During his time back at the residence, he damaged metal screens trying to make entry into the residence. He was located by deputies at the rear residence trying to contact the victim. Further investigation revealed he had operated his vehicle back to the residence while intoxicated. Also the subject has two open felony cases for domestic violence against the victim and his conditions of release state he cannot contact her. The subject was arrested and booked into SFADC.
