Location: Airport Rd/ Thomas Rd, Santa Fe, NM 

Arrested: Jonathan Mejia 33 YOM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane. Contact was made with the driver at which time an odor of alcohol was detected. SFST's were administered and further signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and refused to submit to chemical testing. The driver was booked into Santa Fe ADC. 

Case 2025001638,1639/Warrant service/ 3-19-25

Assigned: Deputy V. Baca

Location: 5700-BLK Airport Rd, Santa Fe, NM 

Arrested: Elias Atencio 26 YOM 

Deputies contacted the subject during a suspicious person's check at the location. The subject had two active warrants for his arrest. The first warrant was for failure to appear on shoplifting charges and the second warrant was for failure to appear on criminal trespassing charges. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident. 

Case 2025001637/ Driving while license revoked/ 3-18-25

Location: NM 76/ Evergreen Ln, Espanola, NM 

Arrested: Elier Perez- Mariscal 30 YOM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the subject. It was learned that the subject/ driver had a revoked driver's license due to a previous DUI and required an interlock in the vehicle. The driver did not have an interlock installed and was arrested and booked into ADC accordingly. 

Case #2025001603 / DWI/ 3/17/25

Arrested- Marsha Padilla (52 year old female/ Velarde, NM)

Location- Sandy Way (Pojoaque)

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a caller reporting a drunk driver. A vehicle description was given by the caller, and deputies located the vehicle driving. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver showed signs of impairment. She was arrested and booked at ADC.

Case #2025001601 / Shooting at or from an occupied dwelling - Negligent use of a firearm/ 3/17/25

Arrested- Isaiah Vigil (23 year old male/ Santa Fe0

Location- Sandia (Shenandoah Trl)

On 3/17/2025 at approximately 8:30 PM deputies were dispatched to a residence for a weapons infraction. Multiple callers reported hearing a male screaming and many gunshots at a residence. Upon arrival, deputies met with the suspect who was quite aggressive towards them, he was subsequently detained. A handgun and multiple shell casings were located on the property. The suspect was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC on the above charges.

Case#2025001689 / Larceny / Criminal Damage to Property / 3-17-25

Location: Colina Dr, Eldorado NM 

Deputies responded to the location in reference a larceny. Upon arrival contact was made with the reporting party, who advised sometime between March 15th and 17th an unknown suspect cut the property’s fence and stole a large spool of copper wire valued at 15000.00 dollars. Deputies were able to collect suspect evidence. The case is under investigation.

Case #2025001588 / Fraud / 03/17/2025

Stolen: $3,800.00

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to fraud.  The victim stated she hired a handyman and provided a deposit in the amount of $1900.00.  The unidentified person stated his bank would not allow him to cash the check and required the amount in cash.  The victim paid the amount to the suspect and later learned the check was cashed.  The suspect is no longer available by phone.

Case #2025001587 / Breaking and Entering - Criminal Trespass - Possession of Paraphernalia - Possession of Burg Tools / 03/17/2025

Arrested: Markeeta Trujillo (31 YOF) / Joseph Jacquez (35 YOM)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary in progress.  Deputies located Ms. Trujillo and Mr. Jacquez inside the residence, and determined they did not have permission to be at the home.  They were placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Case #2025001583/ Aggravated Assault on a Household Member/ 3/16/25

Location- Wagon Trail (Cerrillos)

Arrested- Natasha Borja (34 year old female/ Cerrillos)

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at approximately 10:00 pm deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a domestic disturbance. Through the investigation, deputies determined the above suspect was the primary aggressor after learning that she punched the victim, pointed a handgun at him, and fired a shot while he had his back turned. The suspect was arrested on the charges of aggravated assault on a household member, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, battery on a household member, and negligent use of a deadly weapon.

2025001584 Revoked Driver’s License 03-17-25

Arrested: Victor Silva 48 yoa male (Socorro)

Subject was stopped as his vehicle was showing that it did not have insurance. Upon contact the subject was found to be operating the vehicle while his license was revoked due to a DWI conviction. He was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.
