Deputy made contact with a couple individuas walking and it was learned that one of the subjects had two active warrants for their arrest. Subject was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.

Vehicle:2018 Kia Soul
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to burglary of motor vehicle. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned unknown suspect(s) forced entry into aforementioned vehicle by breaking the driver side window. Once inside, the stole aforementioned listed items. No suspect information at this time. The vehicle was parked on March 19, 2023 at 5:30 pm and discovered March 20, 2023 at 11:00 am. Vehicle was left on the side of the roadway due to snow preventing access to residence.

Location: Val Verde Drive (Valle Vista)
Arrested: Jarrod Bearden 36 yoa male (Santa Fe)/ Nathan Lailes 35 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Deputies were close patrolling the Valle Vista Subdivision, when they located a vehicle which had been spray painted black and dispalying a license plate listed as stolen. Investigation revealed the Mr. Bearden, was in posssession of the vehicle for the past two weeks. Mr. Lailes was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. Both individuals were arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.

Arrested:Donnie DeAguero 46 yoa male (Espanola)
Subject was stopped for having a non operational headlamp. A check of the subject's license revealed his driving priviliges had been revoked due to a prior DWI / refusal to submit to chemical testing. Subject was arrested and booked without incident.

Subject was stopped after he was observed stopping in the highway backing up traffic without reason. Subject showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on SFST's. Subject was arrested and submited to chemical testing. The testing revealed a .20/.19 BrAC. Subject was booked into SFADC.

On aformentioned date it was learned that several vehicles catalytic converters were taken and one attemtped, no owners were located due to this being a trail head and a drop off point for LANL.

Location: 700 block of Old Las Vegas Highway
Arrested: Troy Cooperman 51 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a a broken window,.Upon arrival Deputies noticed a vehicle had been damaged (Scratched) and a window to the residence had been shattered. Further investigation revealed the victim had a restraining order against her husband and was going through a divroce. Deputies were able to make contact with the husband and located evidence which linked him to the crime. Subject was arrested and admitted to commiting the crimes and being aware of the restraining order. He was booked without further incident.

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino
Arrested: Lorenzo Castillo 50 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Deputies responded to the Buffalo Thunder Casino in reference to assisting the tribal police with a non-native individual. Upon arrival, deputies learned the subject was highly intoxicated and asked to leave the casino by security. At one point the individual became unruly, slapped a security guard and patron. Subject was detained by security and also attempted to headbutt a tribal police officer. Subject was booked into SFADC.
