Subject was stopped for a speeding violation. Subject was also found to have a revoked drivers license. The license was revoked due to a prior DWI. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Arrested: Carlos Talavera, 44YOM, Espanola, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding assistance with other agencies. Upon arrival, deputies learned that Pojoaque Tribal Police conducted a traffic stop on a stolen motor vehicle. Tribal Police made contact with the driver, identified as the above individual. While on the scene, deputies learned the subject had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked without incident. During an inventory of the vehicle, several fentanyl pills were located within reach of the driver. Case#2023005850/Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated/9-30-23

Arrested: Zachary Mouchette, 32YOM, Rio Rancho, NM

On September 30, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. After ivestagtion, the above suspect/driver was eventually located at Allsups. While speaking with the driver, deputies observed signs of impairment. Suspect provided a breath sample of .36 and .36. The above suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Faclity.

Driver stopped for no tailights Driver agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and open alcoholic containers were located inside vehicle. Driver refused to chemical testing. He was booked into SFADC with out incident.

Case#2023005849/Burglary of a motor vehicle, Larceny, and Criminal Damage to Property/9-30-23

Location: Paseo De La Tierra and Camino La Tierra, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen/Damaged: Wallet, credit cards, cash, side window (Total Value $470)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival the victim stated he parked his vehicle at the location in order to go for a bicycle ride. When the victim came back to his vehicle he noticed someone had broke the passenger side window with a large rock and took the above items.

Deputies were dispatched to motor vehicle crash. Driver performed SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Suspect was arrested and agreed to chemical testing. Results were 0.36-0.36. Driver booked into SF ADC with out incident

Arrested: Jose Martinez Arellano, 29 YOA male, Espanola

Deputies were contacted by Pojoaque Police to assist with a traffic stop. Deputies observed signs of impairment from the driver. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

SUBJECT ARRIVED AT DISTRICT COURT FOR PRETRIAL SERVICE AND WAS FOUND TO HAVE TO ACTIVE WARRANTS. SUSPECT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR THE ACTIVE WARRANTS AND TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETETNION CENTER WHERE HE WAS SERVED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT INCIDENT.

Contact with subject was made during a traffic stop in the above area. Subject had a warrant for his arrest out of Espanola PD. The original charge was for shooting at a dwelling or occupied building, negligent use of a deadly weapon and aggravated assault. Subject was booked into SFADC accordingly.

Victim: 22 YOF

Deputy made contact with victim who wanted to file a report in reference to being scammed. Victim stated she met a guy on WhatsApp and had been conversing with him throughout the last few years. Over the years, victim sent money at the suspect's request. Victim was told she would be paid back all her money and she would receive more than what she sent. Total amount sent is closed to $3000. Case is under investigation.
