Arrested- Timothy Martinez (26 years old/ Santa Cruz)

Location- Cino Hermanos/ NM 76

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined that a battery had occurred and that Timothy was the primary agressor. He was placed under arrest and later booked at ADC.


Case 2024006745/Receiving transferring stolen motor vehicle x2/ 12-19-2024

Arrested: Anita Rael 43 YOF

Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for not having any lights. Through investigation, it was learned the vehicle was stolen out of Santa Fe PD. While at the location near the residence of the subject, another vehicle was identified in the driveway and reported stolen out of Santa Fe PD. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


Case 2024006744/Driving while license revoked, vehicles to be registered, no insurance/ 12-19-24

Arrested: Angel Antonio 32 YOM

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject, who was driving the vehicle, had a confirmed revoked driver's license DUI related. The vehicle had a suspended registration and no insurance. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Arrested: Jayla Ortiz 46 YOF

The subject was identified during a traffic stop and had a confirmed arrest warrant out of  Socorro County Magistrate Court. The arrest warrant was for failure to appear on original charges of speeding. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


Case#2024006737/ Credit Card Fraud/12-18-24

Location: Arroyo Nambe, Santa Fe, NM

The reporting party stated their Best Buy Credit Card was stolen from their mailbox, activated, and used fraudulently. Two declined attempts were made, and two purchases totaling $589.17 were completed.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a welfare check. The subject had two active arrest warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, shoplifting, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a welfare check. The subject had two active arrest warrants for failure to appear on original charges of criminal trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Deputies made contact with the subject after conducting a traffic stop for speeding. The subject who was driving the vehicle had a confirmed revoked driver's license related to DUI. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


2024006645 / DWI - Driving while license is revoked / 12-16-2024

Location: Canada Del Rancho at Avenida Del Sur

Arrested: Marina Mtakovich    Age: 23   Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the ablove listed area reference a reckless driver in a marron sedan. Deputies located the vehicle and observed its driving habits initiating a traffic stop. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was offered the opportunity to perform sobriety tests. The driver stop and refused to complete the remaining test, then refused chemical testing. The driver was then found to have been operating the vehicle while her license was revoked due to a prior DWI. The driver was taken to jail and booked accordingly.

Location: Coyote Ridge Rd

Victim report unknown male walked into their house without permission. Victim left when the dog started barking at him. It does not appear that anything was stolen. Case is under investigation.
