Stolen: Gray in color, 2019 ATC Aluminum Trailer (bearing MT-473132C)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to criminal damage to property and an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The reporting person, stated he left the property on April 25th, 2024 at approximately 5:30 pm. When he returned the following day, he noticed his chain-link fence was cut, a lock was broken and his flatbed aluminum trailer was missing. The approximate value is $12,000.00 dollars.

Stolen: $5,600 in solar panels and gat equipment

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a larcenyy.  Between 7:00 am and 8:15 am on April 15th, the above items were stolen from the location.  No further information at this time


Case #2024002140 / Unattended Death / 04/25/2024

Deputy Assigned: F. Trujillo

Location: Serenity Lane

Decedent: 68 YOA

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Deputies located the decedent inside of a parked vehicle in a driveway.  The decedent was beyond any life-saving measures.  There were no signs of suspicious activity.  OMI arrived on scene and took possession of the decedent.


2024002133 Aggravated Battery / Aggravated Assault deadly weapon - 4-25-2024

Deputy Assigned: Ruben Blea

Supervisor Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: Sandia Road   Santa Fe County, NM

Arrested: Moises Ortiz     Age:55  Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to location reference to a dispute. Upon arriving, deputies learned the suspect struck the victim with bricks causing minor injuries and then attempted running him over with a vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and taken to jail where he was charged accordingly.


2024002131 / Warrant Service/ 4/24/2024

Deputy Assigned: Ruben Blea

Supervisor Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Ramon Samaniega         Age: 27    Santa Fe, NM

Deputy Blea responded to the jail and served Mr. Samaniega with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. 


Case #2024002118 / Battery Against a Household Member / 04/24/2024

Deputy Assigned: A. Gallardo

Location: Cedar Road (Santa Fe County)

Arrested: Isabella Talamante (18 YOA)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Through an investigation, it was learned that the suspect threw an object at the victim, which did strike her.  The suspect was placed under arrest, transported to the SFCADF, and booked accordingly.


Case #2024002113 / Breaking and Entering / 04/24/2024

Location: Cedar Road (Santa Fe County)

Victim: 34 YOA

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary.in progress.  An unidentified male was observed on surveillance but had left prior to law enforcement arriving on scene.  Nothing was taken from the residence due to a security alarm frightening the suspect from the location.


Case #2024002114 / Fraud / 04/24/2024

Deputy Assigned: J. Corley

Location: Hammond Road (Santa Fe County)

Stolen: $900.00

Victim: 71 YOA

Deputies made contact with the victim in reference to a fraud.  An unidentified male portaryed himself as a bank employee on a phone call with the victim.  He was able to obtain the victim's banking information and withdrew the funds from the account.


Case #2024002110 / Embezzlement / 04/24/2024

Location: 4519 Agua Fria Street (Sand and Gravel)

Suspect: Yvonne Baca

Deputies condcuted an investigation in reference to embezzlement.  It was learned that the suspect would take cash from business transactions and dispose of the receipts.  The manager advised they confronted the suspect, who then admitted to taking money.  The suspect was unable to be contacted..

Location: 27400 E. Frontage Road (Santa Fe County)

Arrested: Dolores Lucero (52 YOA)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a welfare check.  Ms. Lucero was identified and had six active warrants for her arrest.  She was placed in custody, transported to the SFCADFand booked accordingly.
