Suspect Vehicle: Silver 2 Door Jeep Wrangler
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim who advised while sitting at a red traffic light, an unknown male smashed their passenger rear window with an unknown object. The subject then got back into their vehicle (silver Jeep Wrangler) and fled south. This case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Laura Hartwell 55 yoa female (Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to the Downs at Santa Fe in reference to a suspicious person. Contact was made with subject. She was found to have an active arrest warrant out of the Rio Rancho Municipal Court for failing to appear on a DWI charge. Subject was taken to the SFADC without incident.

Subject was contacted while being served a restraining order. Subject was found to have an active arrest warrant for failing to appear on an original charge of breaking and entering. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Arrested: Juliana Santiestevan 51 yoa female (Espanola)
Subject was stopped after being tracked at 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. Contact was made signs of intoxication were noted. Subject submitted to SFST's and showed multiple signs of impairment. Subject was arrested and refused a blood test. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Location: Los Amigos Road (Pojoaque)
Arrested: Joshua Romero 26 yoa male (Espanola)
Deputies encountered the subject asleep at the wheel of a vehicle with it's hazard lights on. Investigation revealed the subject had driven to the location and fallen asleep with the vehicle in the roadway. The subject refused to do SFST's and was arrested. However, he did submit to chemical testing which revealed a .32 .33 BrAC. He was booked into SFADC.

Arrested: Cesar Marquez Lozano 42 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Subject was stopped after being observed traveling 58 mph in a 35 mph zone. During initial contact, signs of intoxication were observed. SFST's were conducted and signs of impariment were observed. Subject was arrested and agreed to be tested. Subject provided a breath sample which revealed a .14, 14 BrAC. He was booked into SFADC without further incident.

Arrested:Steven Ewers 62 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Subject was stopped after the vehicle he was operating did not have tail lamps and was observed failing to stop for a red light. Subject showed signs of intoxication and submitted to SFST's. Subject showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested. A breath test revealed a .16,.15 BRaC. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Deputies conducted a stop on above listed driver. Signs of Impairment were observed. Driver had a Brac of more then twice the legal limit of .08. He was booked into the SF ADC accordingly.
