On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, deputies were notifed of a fraud which occurred recently. Contact was made with the victim who advised unknown persons had written fraudulent checks for an amount over $2500. This case remains under investigation.
2023002971/ AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/ 05/15/2023

LOCATION: COUNTY ROAD 56C BLOCK
SUSPECT: UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME
VICTIM WAS AT WORK GOING TO FIX A FRONT END LOADER WHEN HE ENTERED THE PROPERTY HE SAW TWO MALES AND ADVISD THEM THEY SHOULD NOT BE ON THE PROPERTY. AFTER TELLING THE MALES TO LEAVE THE LOCATION AND A BRIEF INTERACTION WITH THEM AND SOME SUGGESTIVE HAND GESTURE. HE LATER HEARD SHOTS BEING FIRED AT HIM FROM ATOP A RIDGE. VICTIM WAS NOT INJURED AND SUSPECTS WERENT FOUND.

US 84-285/MM 180
Deputies repoded to US 84-285 near MM 171 in regards to a wrong way driver. Vehice was loacted near the 180 Mile marker still trveling north in the soouth bound lanes of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver agreed to perform SFST's. Subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject refused chemical testing and was booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Traffic stop was conducted for speeding. Driver Agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Subject gave consent to a blood draw. Subject was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Location: Paseo C De Baca and Theresa Lane Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Daniel Ortega-Castillo, 26YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies conducted a traffic stop after an NCIC check revealed that the vehicle had an expired registration. The NCIC check also revealed that the vehicle's Registered Owner (RO) had an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy observed the registered owner in the backseat, matching the NCIC photograph. RO identified himself as an outstanding person. The subject was arrested and booked at SFADF without incident. Arrested Audrey Brokeshoulder 24YOF (Albuquerque)
Vehicle was called in as a wrong way driver traveling south in the north-bound lane of travel on the Interstate. Vehicle crashed into another vehicle traveling the opposite direction. Subject submitted to a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and showed several signs of impairment. Subject refused to chemical testing. Subject was arrested and booked into SFADC with out incident.

Deputies contacted calling party who advised she has received two letters from New Mexico Workforce Solutions requesting further information for an unemployment claim. The calling party advised she never requested any unemployment benefits. No suspect information at this time.

Traffic stop was conducted o vehicle for speeding and not being able to stay within its lane of travel. Driver displayed signs of being under the influence and was asked to perform SFST's. Subject showed signs of impairment, was placed under arrest and agreed to checmical testing. Subject provided two breath samples of 0.22 g/210L-0.22 g/210L. Subject was booked into SFADC with out incident.

Deputies responded to an incident of a male being disorderly. It was learned the male had an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of a crstal like substance on his person. Male was transported to SFADC, charged and booked accordingly.
