Deputies responded to domestic dispute on Paseo de Ulibarri and discovered Jesus Esparza had battered a household member and fled. Esparza was apprehended in the area at another residence.

On 12/25/08, 0400hrs/am Deputies responded to a 911 call in which the female victim was battered and threatened with a knife, by her boyfriend. Victim reported that as she and her boyfriend were returning home from a x-mas party, he was highly intoxicated and statred hitting her as he was driving. As they got home, he started hitting her in the bedroom and held her down on the bed. The fight continues into the kitchen, where he grabbed a large knife, put it to her throat and threatened to kill her. Suspect was arrested on scene without incident, and was bokked, charged accordingly. Victim sustained minor injuries.

Deputies responded to a male allegedly pointing a handgun at himself. Upon arrival discovered a domestic dispute had occured and at some point the suspect fired a 9mm handgun in close proximity to a woman and small infant. Firearm was recovered.

Vehicle: Red 2000 Dodge Ram Pick Up.
On Monday, December 22, 2008 Ms Antoinette Montoya reported that her 2000 Red in color Dodge pick up truck was stolen from her parents residence at, sometime on that date between 9:00am and 11:00am. She related that it was her belief that her ex-husband, had taken the truck.Ms Montoya signed a stolen vehicle affidavit and it was entered into NCIC. Prior to the completion of this report, Ms Montoya reported that she had located the vehicle.

ON THIS DATE VICTIM REPORTED LEFT HOME AROUND 0645 AND RETURNED AROUND 1800 HOURS AND FOUND HIS FRONT DOOR HAD BEEN KICKED IN AND THE ABOVE LISTED ITEMS HAD BEEN REMOVED. CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.
