SUSPECT BEYAGE JASON TALIMAN 21 YOM

VEHICLE WAS STOPPED FOR SPEEDING. UPON CONTACT WITH THE DRIVER HE STATED HE DID NOT A LICNES BUT HIS PASSENGER/ SUSPECT DID. UPON GETTING HIS LICENSE BLUE PILLS FELL OUT OF HIS WALLET. SUSPECT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR POSSESSION AN TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETETNITON CENTER WHERE HE WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED WITH OUT INCIDENT.

Deputy stopped out with a suspicious invdividual wakling in the area. Female was found to have an active warrant out of State Police for no insurane. Subject was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for no license plate. Driver was found to have an active Municipal Warrant out of SFPD. Driver also had narcotics on her person. Subject was placed under arrest and booked into SFADC with out incident. 

Case #2023002615 Aggravated Assault/ Shooting at of from an occupied dwelling 04-28-23

Location 300 block on NM 76 and La Puebla Road/ Los Quintanas Road

Deputies were dispatched after SFRECC recieved multiple calls regarding shots being fired in the area. Upon arrival in the area, deputies found two different locations that they found spent casings. Deputies were able to locate a victim and multiple bullet holes in residence on NM 76. At this time, the investigation is on-going and the Santa Fe County Criminal Investigation Division assumed investigation. 

Case #2023002619 Agg. Fleeing, Driving while under the influence, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, trafficking a controlled substance 04-29-23

Arrested: Roberto Mendez-Ortega 34 yoa male (Santa Fe) & Kristin Coble 33 yoa female (Santa Fe)

Deputies were in the area of the 900 block of Camino Vista Aurora conducting close patrols. A deputy observed a white Nissan Froniter and white Range Rover parked in the driveway of the residence which are not usually in the driveway of that residence. The license plate on the white Frontier was found to be listed as a stolen vehicle.As Deputy was going to initate a traffic stop with the vehicle, it fled the area. The attempt to stop the vehicle was cancelled as the driver later identified as Mr. Mendez fled at a high rate of speed. Deputies returned to the address and found the Rang Rover was also stolen. As deputies were recovering the Range Rover, the stolen Nissan truck returned to the area. Deputies again attempted to stop the vehicle and it once again fled. Deputies were later able to find and monitor the vehicle. Another traffic stop was attempted on Agua Fria St and S. Meadows and the vehicle's passenger side tires were flattened with spike strips. The vehicle, however fled once again. Deputies were able to locate and monitor the vehicle and once again attempt a stop on Airport Road. The vehicle's driver's side tires were flattened. The vehicle was then traveling at a low speed and deputies engaged in a short pursuit with the vehicle. The vehicle came to a stop and the driver would not comply with demands to exit the vehicle. He was removed from the vehicle. After he was arrested, the driver was found to be in possession of about 387 Fetananyl pills. and also admitted that he had consumed alcohol and smoked the Fetananyl pills before driving. He was also found to having to conceal several fetananyl pills in his anal cavity. He was arrested and booked into SFADC without further incident after recieving a medical clearance and submitting to a blood test.  

The passenger of the vehicle was also found to be in possession of at least 24 fetanayl pills and after being advised of her miranda rights, admitted that several pills belonged to her. She was also booked into SFADC without incident.

Traffic stop was conducted on vehicle for not displaying a lcense plate. Driver was asked to perform SFST's and displayed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and booked into SF ADC without incident.  

Case#2023002623/Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Negligent Use of a Deadly Weapon/4-29-23

Location: 1 Block of Camino De Los Ranchos, Chimayo, NM

Suspect: Halbert Martinez, 31 YOM, Chimayo, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting person, who stated the suspect got angry and shot a gun in the air adjacent to the residence. According to the reporting person and NCIC, the subject does have a previous felony conviction. Deputies attempted to locate the subject, without success. An arrest warrant was drafted and entered into NCIC.

Arrested: Jaylyn Valdez, 28 YOA female, Espanola NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the registered owner showing a revoked license for a prior DWI. The registered owner was verified to be driving the vehicle prior to the traffic stop. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly

Depputies were dispatched in reference to a traffic crash. Upon arrival it was learned on of the drivers had an active arrest warrant for her arrest. Subject was arrested, transported, and booked into jail without incident. Original Charge: Child Abuse.
