Victims girlfriend reported that on 7-12-08 at approximately 10:00 am she observed a male aquaintance remove a yellow 1978 Yamaha TT-500 motorcycle from the property. The suspect was not confronted by the witness at the time of incident. Contact with the suspect is pending.

On 7/14/08, Deputies were dispatched to the area of Lonestar Mobilehome Park in reference to suspicious persons in the area. Contact was made with these subjects who were identified and suspect had an active bench warrant out of Santa Fe District Court for failure to pay child support. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 7/14/08, driver was stopped for a traffic violation and upon contact was found to have an active bench warrant out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failure to complete alcohol treatment. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

The victim reported that he was out of town between 7:00 AM on Saturday until 8:30 PM tonight. He stated that when he arrived home, he found that someone had entered his residence via an open window. Once inside the suspect(s) stole above listed items.

Charges: Felony DWI, Driving on Suspended/Revoked Driver's License, Open Container
Deputies responded to a report of a subject past out behind the wheel of his vehicle with an open alcoholic beverage container in his hand. Upon arrival, Deputies found the above named individual to be seated behind the wheel of a vehicle asleep with the motor running. The defendant was heavily intoxicated and could not perform field sobriety testing without risk of falling down. The defendant was arrested and found to have 6 prior DWI convictions. A search warrant was obtained for a blood sample, which was executed at St. Vincent's Hospital. The defendant was then booked accordingly. Blood alcohol test results are pending analysis.

Location: 100 block of Rio Arriba County Road #099, State Road #76 Chimayo area

Arrested: Patrick Martinez, 28yoa, male
Victim: 20yoa male
On this date at the above listed address, deputies were sent to this area due to a fight in progress. As deputies were responding they were notified that one male had been stabbed. When deputies arrived victim was found dead outside of the residence. Suspect was located and taken into custody during investigation. Case was refered to Criminal Investigation Unit and case is on going. Victim died due to a single stab wound to the chest.
