Location: 3900 Block of Charley Bentley Dr. SFNM

A neighbor clled advising that an auto burlary was in progress.  Prior to officer's arrival, the suspects had fled the scene.  Upon mkking contact with the victim, he advised that he had left his vehicle unlocked and the suspects stole two sets of keys from inside the vehicle.


0208008676 Aggravted DWI 10-05-08

Location: Santa Fe County Rd. 84D

Arrested: Michael Herrera 32yoa

The defendant was observed driving at the above location and stopped for no apparent reason in the middle of the road.  Upon making contact the defendant was highly intoxicated and unable to complete fied sobriety test.  He was arrested and had a BrAC of .24 and .25.  He was booked accordingly at the adult detention center. 


Case:  0208008671 ? DWI, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Open Container / 10-05-2008

Location:  100 block of State Road 344, Edgewood area

Charges:  Contributing to a minor,open container and DWI

On this date suspect was stopped for a traffic violation.  Suspect showed signs of impairment.  Suspect was arrested on above listed charges.  Passenger a 17 yoa male was arrested and released to his parents. Suspect was taken to the Adult Detention Center.  Juvenila male was also under the influence.

On this date deputy met with victinm who wanted to report that her neighbor pointed a firearm at her because she was tresspassing on his property.  Case has been referred to the District Attorneys Office for reveiw due to conflicting statements form everyone.

On this date between 1200 hours and1700 hours, unknown suspect (s) gained entry to a gold Saturn, El Camino and KIA Sephia and stolen the car stereo from each one of them. Case under referred to CID for investigation.


Case: 0208008672 / Larceny over $250.00, transferring or receiving stolen property / 10-04-2008

Location:  100 block of Reata Road, West Frontage Road area

Suspect: 17 yoa Juvenila male

Charges:  Larceny, transferring of stolen property

On this date victim reported that his son had taken his vehicle with out permission and stolen his sledge hammer valued at $700.00 so he could buy marijuana.  Suspect was arrested and charged and released to his Annt.

On this date victim reported over the last couple of months suspect whom works for victim, has stolen about $5,695.00 in cash from victims.  Case under investigation at this time.


Case: 0208008664 / Aggravated Asssault Against a Household Member / 10-05-2008

Location:  100 block of Taylor Loop, East Frontage Road area

Officer assigned:  Deputy V. Hayes

Arrested:  Cheryl J. Mendoza 45 yoa female

Charges:  Aggravated assault against household member with a deadly weapon

On this date suspect reported that the victim damaged her vehicle and she wanted him arrested.  Suspect and victim located on the East Frontage Road.  Victim reported that they were in a domestic again and he wanted to leave.  As he was walking towards Santa Fe, suspect tryed to run over him two times with her vehicle.  Victim reported that he then threw a hand full of small rocks at the vehicle when she tryed to run him over again and h=it broke the rear drivers side window.  Suspect was arrested and taken to the Adult Detention Center on above listed charge.

Arrested: Stephanie Martinez 38 yoa female, Michael Dyke 58 yoa male, Marcos Archuletta 46 yoa male.

Charges DWI, Aggravated DWI driver to be licensed and registration required

On this date, Stephanie Martinez was driving on 503 when she struck to motorcycles from behind causing them to crash.  Stephaine Martinez was found to be intoxicated and so were both men on the motorcycles.  Stephaine was charged with Aggravated DWI and Michael Dyke and Marcos Archuletta were chaged with DWI.  All where taken to the Adult Detention Center.


Case #0208008646 / Contributing of a minor , distributing of controlled substance of a controlled susbstance-marijuana, breaking

Location:  Rodero Road - Plaza Blanca

Officer assigned:  Sgt. Clifton Coleman

Arrested:  Brian Harvey 18yog male, Jerald Montoya 19 yoa male, Ismael Cardenas 24 yoa male and Celia Martinez 19 yoa female

Charges:  Contributing to a minor, distribution of marijuana, breaking and entering, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia

 On this date suspects were stopped in a 2002 blue in color Lexus after being observed passing around jars of marijuana.  The above listed persons were found in possession of 7 quart jars of marijuana, scales, baggies and pipes and rolling papers.  There was also a 16 yoa female asisting them in dividing the marijuana.  The juvenile was released to her parent and charged with distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia, Jerald Montoya, Celia Martinez and Ismael Cardenas were charged with contributing to a minor, distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Brian Harvey ran form officers when they went to arrest him on the same charges.  Brian Harvey damaged a fence and then broke into a shed to hide form officers.  He was located and he reisited officers agian and he was shot with a Taser and sprayed with OC spray.  Brian was then chaged with five counts of resisting an officer, breaking and entering and criminal damage to property under $1,000.00.  All four adults were taken to the Adult Detention Center.
