Suspect: 4 juvenile males /12-18 yrs old
Victim reported that on 8/12/08 at approx 0030hrs/am, his vehicle: 2004 Chev Cavalier 4d, was burglarized a a back pack with misc items were stolen. Victim saw 4 males walking away from the area, so he confronted them. The males were holding his backpack, and started running away, dropping his belongings. Victim recovered all of his property except for the backpack. It was determined that the victim left the window down to his car, and the suspects reached in and took the backpack. Suspects could not be located.

Victim #3: Natanni Mirabal, 21, Santa Fe, NM
On 8-11-2008, at 12:16 AM, the driver was operating the vehicle south at the location and was passing another vehicle. As the driver completed the pass he lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side. The vehicle then went down a dirt embankment. The vehicle then rolled approximately 41/2 times coming to rest on its roof to the west of the West Frontage Road. Victims #2 and #3, who were unrestrained rear seat passengers were ejected from the vehicle. All four occupants were transported to St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The driver and victim #1 were treated for minor injuries and released. Victim #2 was treated for head, neck, right arm injuries and admitted in stable condition. Victim #3 was treated for head and internal injuries and admitted in critical condition. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, however speed does.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute and during investigation observed an injury to victim's chin. Battery was determined to be the cause and Warren Hill was arrested for Battery against a Household Member.

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash and found one of the drivers, Antonio Gutierrez-Calabasa to have been driving on a revoked license with arrest clause from a prior DWI arrest. Suspect arrested without incident.

On 08-10-08 a traffic stop was conducted on a 1998 Ford Windstar after it was observed making a u turn in the median of Interstate 25 mile marker. Upon making contact with the driver it was found that his driver's license was revoked with the 66-8-122G arrest clause. Upon conducting a search incident to arrest a white powdery substance and green leafy substance were found on his person. The white powdery substance was field tested positive for Cocaine, and the green leafy substance was found to be Marijuana. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a Domestic Disturbence. Victim reported that her boyfriend was intoxicated and they began arguing. During the argument the suspect grabbed the victim by the arms and pushed her around. The suspect then grabbed the television remote and through it at the victim, striking her in the hip. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly.

Charges: Aggravated D.W.I., Speeding, No Drivers License, Open Container
Arrested: Jerson Castaneda-Valenzuela age: 27
Vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Airport Road, heading east. Vehicle was locked on radar at 56 miles per hour in a posted 40 miles per hour zone. Upon making contact with the above-named driver, an odor of intoxicating liquor was detected. The driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery and his speech was slurred. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest. The driver agreed to submit to a breath test and his results were a .18/ .17 BrAC. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at the above location, in which the victim returned home to seeing forced entry at her back door and hearing a noise inside. Deputies arrived and cleared the residence without locating any suspects. Several electronics were found to be missing from inside the house. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.
