Victim reported that she arrived home at 10:00 am (8-1-08) am located an unknown male subject inside.  When the victim confronted the male he exited the residence and fled the area in an older model Toyota station wagon (silver in color).  Victim reported that three diamond wedding rings valued at $6,500 were stolen.  Further investigation into this matter is pending.

Victim reported that between October 2007 and July 2008 her propane company was making unauthorized charges on her credit card.  The charge of $4,600.00 has been charged on her credit card for gas services which she hasn't received.  Further investigation into this matter is pending.

Location: Valle Vista Blvd, Santa Fe, NM

Victim went to pick up his girlfriend at the above location when three males approached his vehicle. One of the males was holding an object in his hand and the other opened the car door and started yelling at him, demanding his money. The victim was able to drive away and elude his attackers. The suspects are unknown at this time.

Location: Hwy 285, milepost 289, Eldorado, NM

Arrested: Mark Valdez, age 29 , Rio Rancho, NM

The above driver was operating a motor vehicle and was stopped by deputies due to being a suspect in a domestic altercation. Driver was found to be impaired and additionally resisted the deputies. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Location: Airport Rd/Jemez Rd

Arrested: Jose Guadalupe, age 22, Santa Fe, NM

Above driver was operating a motor vehicle and was observed swerving on the roadway. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and the driver was found to be impaired. The driver submitted to a breath test and the results were .15, .15. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center accordingly.

Arrested: Dale Jones, age 31, Santa Fe, NM

The above defendant was picked up by Jerry Gonzales Bail Bonds for an active warrant. RECC confirmed the warrant out of Las Animas County, Colorado. and verified they would extradite. The defendant was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute where a father was smoking Crack Cocaine and battered his daughter.

Suspects/arrest: 6 Juvenile males

Charges: pending refered to Juvenile Probation Office

On 8/2/08 Two(2) auto burglaries were reported at the FOP.  Victim#1 vehicle: 2002 Cadillac Escalade window was broken and a stereo, amplifier, boom box and a case of 200 misc music CD's valued at over $5,000.00 were stolen. Victim#2 vehicle: 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, window was broken and a stereo, case of over 200 music CD's , valued at $4,500.00 were stolen. The suspects got into a Chrysler Sebring and drove off. A witness followed the suspects to the Santo Domingo gas station where they were located by NMSP. Suspects were all arrested, but JPO did not authorize incarceration and were all released to their parents. All of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the victims. Case refered to JPO/DA

Suspect: UNKNOWN MALE driving a green Subaru

On 8/2/08 a 16 yr old employee directing traffic in the parking lot was intentionally struck by an unknown male driving an older model Subaru. The victim was able to jump on the hood, but rolled off hitting the pavement. Victim was not injured, and suspect could not be located.

Suspect/arrested: Karen Padilla age 40

Charges: Abandonment or Abuse of a Child/Assault against a Household Member/Resisting or Obstructing an Officer

On 8/3/08 Deputies responded to a violent domestic, in which the callers mother was on a rampage, and breaking everything in the house. The suspect was drunk and arguing with her 18 yr old daughter, because the daughter refused to let her use her car. The suspect has an ignition interlock installed in her own vehicle. Suspect then started throwing things around the house, breaking glasses, pictures frames, throwing kitchen knives and threatened her daughter. Suspects 8 yr old daughter was barefooted and walking around the brokeb glass and knives. Suspect was very uncooperative, and had to be carried out of the house. Suspect was charged/booked accordingly.No injuries. Both daughters left for the night.
