On 2/19/08, deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival contact was made with victim who stated that his girlfriend, suspect, had struck him with a closed fist in the mouth causing him to bleed. Victim stated that suspect began to throw things around inside the house. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Victim left home in the morning and returned to find his home broken into. Taken from inside was a Samsung TV and about 50 Comic Books. Suspects gained entry by breaking a glass window with a rock.

Charges: Sus 1: Aggravated DWI sus 2: Possession of drug Paraphernalia
While following up on a battery and criminal damage report the above suspects were identified as being involved. Contact was made with the two suspects who were in a Dodge Pickup. The driver, Adrian Montoya, was driving and was under the influence of alocohol. The passenger was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested.

A residence under construction at the above location was unlawfully entered without force and a hot tub and 2 sinks were stolen from inside. A subcontractor working on the residence is suspected of stealing the items due to past disagreements with the owner. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim reports she parked her vehicle at the Chamisa Trail Head and left her vehicle for some time. Upon her return, she found the rear passenger window broken and about $2500.00 in valuables were stolen. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Victim: 35 year old male
Above victim was found unconscious and not breathing by family members. Medics were contacted and upon their arrival, found the male had passed away. Preliminary findings showed past medical issues were a contributing factor. There were no signs of foul play at the time of investigation.
