Victim reported that sometime between 7/16/08 and 7/17/2008 some unknown person(s) stole his platinum in color Rolex watch from his bedroom. Victim stated that during this time he had a crew painting the inside of his residence. Victim was unable to provide any suspect information at this time.


0208006292 Fradulent use of a Credit Card

Victim reported that she had allowed an acquaintance to stay at her residence for several days. During the stay the suspect found the victims credit card and used it several time for the total amount of$152.46 to pay a cell phone bill.

Arrested/charges: Battery against a household member/Concealing Identity/District Court Warrant# D0101CR9900358: Trafficking: Cocaine

Deputy responded to a domestic dispute in which the suspect bit his girlfriend on the cheek, and threw her to the ground. Suspect fled the area but was located outsideand tried to hide from Deputy. Suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Victim reports home was entered with no visible force. A Sony laptop, various jewelry and a pair of binoculars. Case is under investigation.

Stolen: 58 Cases of White Marble Tile, 3 Ceiling, 1 Kitchen Sink

Value: $4,500

Victim reported that she recently purchased several items for her home. Said victim was in teh process of building her home. Items purchased included the above items and were placed in the garage. The victim discovered the items missing. It appeared the vehicle backed up to the back door and took the items.

Location of arrest:  34 Camino Ancon, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)

Suspect:  Dennis Duran, age 32, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Abandonment or Abuse of a child, Interference with Communications

On 7/21/08 it was reported that a 32 year old male suspect had pushed and slapped his 15 year old sister.  The mother of both individuals attempted to call 911 and suspect pulled the phone line out of the jack and left the residence.  Suspect was highly intoxicated.  Victim stated that suspect pushed her head into the wall.  Suspect was found at a guest house next door to the main residence.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


CASE: 0208006289 / DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE / 07-21-2008

LOCATION: 3900 BLOCK OF AGUA FRIA / CAMINO PRLVOSO AREA

OFFICER ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY SHANNON COLES

ARRESTED:  RAMOND A. GALLEGOS, 51 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE IMPROPER CONDISTION OF MOTOR VEHICLE, DRIVER TOO BE LICENSED

On this date the above listed suspect was driving east bound on Agua Fria on his trike motorcycle when he knew that the front wheel hub was defective. The wheel hub broke causeing suspect to lose control of trike and he hit a fence casusing damage to fence and the trike.  Investigation showed that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol and admitted to taking pain pills.  Suspect was arrested on above charges and taken to hospital to be cleared before transporting to the Adult Detention Center.

LOCATION: 100 BLOCK CAMINO DE JACOBO / AIRPORT ROAD

SUSPECT: NICK VALDEZ, 33 YOA MALE

CHARGES: PENDING

On this date the victim contacted the Sheriff Department and advised that his aquaintance listed above entered his house and removed several items valued at about $840.00.  The victim stated that he was asleep when this happened and it was because he had told the suspect to stop coming over to his haouse so much.

Victim reported that sometime between 10:00am and 12:20am on 7/17/08 some unknown suspect(s) entered his residence through and open window after removing the screen. Suspect(s) rummaged through the residence and stole the above items.
