On the above date a teacher at the Agua Fria Elementry School reported that someone had broke in to the school and stole several items of value. There was also several thousand dollars worth of damage done to the interior of the school.

At about 3:52 AM a report of a vehicle fire came into dispatch, vehicles interior and exterior were completely burt. Vehicle was said to have been left on roadside for two to three days. There are no suspects as of report time.

On 2/9/08, approx 2:58am suspect was traveling north bound on NM14, and was observed crossing both lane division lines. Driver displayed signs of impairment, and was arrested after given field sobriety test. BAC of .12/.12 were obtained. Suspect booked and charged accordingly.

On 2/9/08 11:20pm, suspect was stopped for speeeding, and showed signs of impairment. Field sobriety test were administerd, and suspect was arrested. Suspect had a BAC of .15/.16. Suspect booked and charged accordingly.

Charges: 2 Counts of Bringing Contraband into a Place of Imprisonment
Deputies responded to the parking lot of the County Jail to investigate a reported violation of an order of protection. The suspect on that case was found to be a passenger in the above named individual's vehicle. The above named individual was found to have brought a Glock 9MM handgun with ammunition onto the jail facility property to pickup his daughter, who was also getting bonded out on other charges. The above named defendant was arrested and booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to the parking lot of the Santa Fe County Jail after receiving a call reporting the above named individual on the property. The subject was restricted by an active order of protection to stay away from his ex-girlfriend's place of work. The ex-girlfriend is a nurse at the jail facility. The male was arrested and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Joe Chavez, 38 yoa, Albuquerque, NM
Charges: Aggravated DWI, Resisting/Obstructing an Officer, Careless Driving, No Insurance, Driving on Suspended/Revoked Driver's License, Open Container, Expired Registration
The defendant was traveling southbound on State Road 599 at Mile Marker 7. The defendant left the roadway to the right and traveled through a fence separating the highway with the frontage road. The defendant then attempted to drive back through the fence from the frontage road side back onto the highway but was unsuccessful. The defendant was found sleeping behind the wheel of the vehicle with open containers of alchoholic beverages. The defendant refused to exit his vehicle to law enforcement and had to be physically extracted from the vehicle. The defendant was arrested and subsequently submitted to a breath test. The results were .19 and .20. He was booked accordingly.
