The victim reported that he was involved in an incident with a mobile home park matenance person. The victim reported that the matenance person pulled a large knife on the victim and his dog. The matenance man was located and stated that he was posting a violations notice at the complainant's residence, when a poodle dog attempted to bite him. He stated that he utilized a pair of vice-grip pliers in self defense when the dog attempted to bite his leg. He denied using a knife or anything else in a threatening manner.

The victim reported that sometime today between the hours of 10:15 AM and 2:25 PM, somone entered her residence through a side window. Once inside the suspect(s) stole the above listed items.

Victim parked her 1985 Honda Accord at the rest area while she used the facility.  Her unlocked car was entered and her purse was taken.  Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Lisa Barker  Age: 44   Cerrillos NM

Lisa Barker was arrested for driving on a Revoked driver's license for a prior DWI conviction after being stopped for an expired license plate.

Arrested/suspect: Miranda Katko age 31

On 6/26/08 approx 12:17am, subject was driving a 2007 Landrover bearing NM 445-NRY, and was stopped for weaving between lanes. Subject appered to be intoxicated, and failed Sobriety tests. Subject was arrested, charged and booked accordingly. Breath Tests of .17/.16 were obtained.

Location: Rancho Viejo Blvd and Via Punto Nuevo, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Unknown

Items Stolen: Titan Generator, Titan Air Compressor. Valued at $ 2700.00

A Titan generator and air compressor were stolen from a construction site at the Rancho Viejo subdivision.  The unknown suspect cut a two foot section of chain link fence to gain access to the job site and removed the items.

Victim reports rented storage unit was entered by force, cutting off pad lock and various electronics and jewelry were taken.  Case is under investigation.  An estimated value of items taken is $5,000.00.

Item Stolen: Engine Hood Valued at $ 800.00

The victim reported between 10:00pm on June 23, 2008 and 6:00am June 24, 2008 an unknown person removed the engine hood, to a 2001 Jeep Wrangler.  The vehicle was parked in the Rancho Carerra Apartment Complex.  No suspect have been identified in regards to this case.

On 6/25/08 AT 0100HRS/AM, victim reported  his 1994 GMC Sierra pk, bearing NM plate# DCR-611 as stolen. Vehicle was location just down the block on fire. Suspect(s) poured gasoline all over the interior and lit it on fire, consuming the entire vehicle. estimated loss $2,000.00


0208005396/ Burglary/ 06-24-08

Stolen: Blue purse containing credit cards and a check book.

Value: $1,600.00

On 06-24-08 two victims reported that their vehicles were broken into while parked at the Santa Fe Community College. Both vehicles were entered by the use of force. Victim #1 reported that her blue purse containing credit cards and check book. Victim #2 reported that her visa credit card was taken. The case is currently under investigation.
