Victim advised that between 4:14 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. on 1-11-08 an unknown person unlawfully entered his 2003 Honda Civic parked in his driveway and stole a Jacket valued at $60.00. No supect or witness information at this time.

Arrested: Andres Gallegos (26 YOA) 1775 Darlene Rd., Rio Rancho NM 87124
Deputies responded to a fight in progress at the above location. Contact was made with the suspect and he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out the City of Santa Fe. He was taken into custody and booked on the warrant.

suspect was located slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle at the above location. Suspect was arrested for DWI and later found to have a white powdery substance believed to cocaine on his person. His driving priveledges are currently revoked the the NM Dept. of Motor Vehicle.

Arrested: Raymond Pena (20 YOA), 1007 Santa Clara Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87507
Suspect was stopped for driving without headlights at night. Suspect showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for DWI. It was discovered that the suspect had five juvenile females in the vehicle at the time of the stop and had placed their lives in danger due to his intoxication level. While in custody and being allowed to use the restroom suspect attempted to strike the arresting deputy.

On 01/11/08 suspect failed to stop at hte traffic signal at the above location. After turning onto Airport Rd. suspect failed to maintain his travel lane. The suspect was stopped and when administered the standardized field sobriety tests he showed signs of impairment. He was subsequently taken into custody.

The victim reported that she had been tied-up by her boyfriend and battered while inside her residence. The victim displayed visible injury and was treated by medical personnel. The suspect was identified but could not be located at the time of this report. The case is open and under investigation.

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member 2 Counts
Deputies responded to a reported fight in progress at above listed location between mother and daughter. Upon their arrival, they located the above listed defendant and two victims. The investigation revealed that the suspect had punched her 14 year old daughter and her ex-boyfriend. Visible injuries were located and she was arrested and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Jan. 11, 2008 at approx. 6:30 a.m. the above deputy responded to an unattended death at a residence located at the above location. The deceased female had a medical history and no signs of foul play were observed.
