On 5/23/08 at approximately 2143 hours, deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the above location. Deputies arrived on scene and heard arguing coming from within. Deputies made contact with suspect, Charles Romo who stated that he and his girlfriend got into an argument due to her coming home late and her drinking. He stated that they argued and that she wanted to leave in which he did not let her go. Victim stated that she arrived home and that they got into an argument. She stated that her boyfriend struck her on her nose, her lips and also the back of her head with his hand or forearm. She stated that she wanted to leave and he refused to let her go. She stated that she went into the kitchen and called 911 and he unplugged the telephone. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Deceadant: George J. Loddy JR. Age 64
Mr. Loddy was found deceased in his home this date. He appears to have died within the last few days. Mr. Loddy had no signs of trauma and No foul play is suspected. Case is under investigation by the Medical Investigator and the Sheriff's Office.

Sometime today between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, unknown person(s) kicked in the door to the victim's residence and stole a 32" Flat Screen TV set from the living room area.

Arrested: Raymond Gomez, 34 yoa, Jaconita, NM
Charges: Abuse of a Child, False Imprisonment, Aggravated DWI
The above named suspect was visiting a friend at said location. The suspect was intoxicated and decided that he wanted to take his friend's 9 year old daughter for a coke. He picked up the child and carried her to the child's mother's vehicle. The suspect left with the child and later returned to Deputies on scene. The suspect was arrested and booked on above listed charges. The child was not hurt and was turned over to family at the scene.

Sometime on 5/22/2008, unknown persons removed and damaged a sky light to the above residence. It appeared that the suspects did not make entry and nothing was found to have been stolen.

Sometime during the early morning hours of 5-22-2008, unknown persons burglarized the Boys and Girls Club at the Santa Cruz County Housing. The suspects caused damage to doors and stole an IBM Computer from inside.

On May 19, 2008, victim reported that sometime between 7:00 pm on 5-14-08 and 8:00 am on 5-15-08 an unknown person(s) unlawfully entered a residence (no signs of force) at the above address. Suspect(s) removed from the residence four flat screen TV's and four DVD/VHS units with a total value of $6,000. No suspect information at this time.

Victim confirmed that two rifles were taken although states that he would need more time to comprise a list of other items taken. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
