Victim: 38 year old male

A verbal argument occurred between the victim and his girlfriend and the girlfriends son became angry and struck the victim with a baseball bat on the legs.  He then struck the victim with a fireplace poker to the forehead and later shot the victim with a pellet gun.  The suspect was placed under arrest.  The victim was transported to UNMH for treatment to his injuries.  Criminal Investigations Division was notified and they assumed the investigation.

Suspect:  George Sanchez, age 22, Espanola, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant charging Failure to comply with conditions of probation signed by Judge Ann Yalman from Santa Fe Municipal Court

On 12/26/07 deputies were dispatched to a domestic which was occurring on US 84-285 mm 180 when Pojoaque Tribal Police arrived and spoke to both parties.  Both parties began arguing at Dion's Pizza and George left walking.  He was picked up later and the argument continued.  While stopped at a red light he jumped out of vehicle.  It was later determined that George Sanchez had a warrant for his arrest out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to comply with conditions of probation.  He was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Frank Moncada, age 40, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Assault against a household member

On 12/26/07 at 2222 hours, deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a fight amongst 2 brothers.  One of the brothers had left prior to officers arrival.  The other brother was given a ride to a friend's residence and advised not to return.  Frank Moncada returned back to the residence and threatened to hit his sister and break her windows to her vehicle.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Stolen: Snow Board

 Victim's snow board was stolen from the above location sometime on 12/25/07.  No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Vehicle: 1996 Olds Cutlass, Green, NM HHG514

A BCSO Deputy conducted a traffic stop of the suspect's vehicle for suspicion of drunk driving. Deputy Baca responded and administered the standard FST's.  The above driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested and booked accordingly. His BrAC was .18 and .18.

Location of incident: 3770 Camino Tierra Real/Forest Service Rd 79

Suspect/arrest: none

Victim reported that sometime between 10:00PM on12/25/07 and 7:00am on 12/26/07, unknown person(s) STOLE his 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked in the driveway to his residence. At approx 10:45AM a crime check caller reported vehicle abandoned on forest rd 79( North of Canada Village Rd). The suspect tried to light the truck on fire by placing a shirt in the gas tank nozzle port, and lighting it on fire. The suspect failed , so the interior was douched with gas and again tried to light it on fire but failed, damaged  estimated at over $1000.00. Fire Marshal investigating.

Suspect: ex-employee

Complainant reported that sometime between 3:00am and 7:00am on 12/25/07, unknown person(s) broke into a liquor storage room located at the main lodge, and stole 12 bottles of different types of liquor valued at $400.00. An ex-employee is suspected. Investigation continues..

Arrested/suspect: Alejandro Fernanadez-Garcia age 21

Victim reported a road rage with a male driver of a bright yellow GMC Canyon truck. Victim claims that the suspect pulled out a black in color semi-auto handgun, chambered a round and pointed the gun at him. Victim felt like the suspect was going to shoot him, so he sped off and called 911. The suspect chased victim down Airport Rd, and turned off by the Giant. Suspect was located travelling west on Agua Fria, was stopped and arrested. Suspect had a  loadedHi-Point model CF-380 semi-auto pistol .380cal in his possession, and openly admitted he did someting stupid. Suspect was booked and charged accordingly.

Complainant/neigbor reported that sometime between 10;00am on 12/21/07 and 11;00am on 12/25/07, unknown person(s) BROKE A GLASS DOOR AND UNLAWFULLY GAINED ENTRY. The homeowner was out of country in France, and it could not be determined if any thing was stolen.

On 12/25/07, Deputy was dispatched to pick up suspect from Pojoaque Tribal Police Department due to another law agency picking up suspect in their jurisdiction.  There was an active warrant on suspect for failure to appear out of District Court and signed by Judge Pfeffer.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
