Deputy responded to a domestic dispute in which suspect struck his 85 yr old father over the back with a broom stick, because of an arguement between suspect and his mother. Suspect was located, arrested, and charged accordingly. Victim sustained a small welt/bump.

Sometime between 8:00pm on 12/12/07 and 7:30am on 12/13/07, unknown suspect BURGLARIZED 5 unlocked vehicles. A Walther 9mm semi-auto pistol and Magelen GPS unit valued at $800.00 was taken from one of the vehicles. Nothing was taken from the other vehicles. Investigation continues.

Victim reported that on 12/12/07 a male subject known to him as Jose Nava was in a white in color Ford passenger car when he pulled up to victims car and pointed at handgun and fired several shots at him. The rounds struck victims left front window and front windshield. Victim was not hit. Suspect fled area, and could not be located.

Charged: Battery against a household member
On 12/12/07 suspect and victim were involved in a domestic disturbance in which a battery took place. The suspect admitted to "blowing up" at her husband and striking him several times in the face with an open hand, leaving visible injuries. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
