Victim reported that on December 7, 2007 between the hours of 12:30pm and 4:00 pm an unknown suspect(s) gained forced entry into his residence through a window and attempted to burglarize his home by moving several item into the middle of the livingroom. No items were stolen and it appeared that the suspect(s) may have fled the scene as the owner arrived home. A neighbor in the area observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed as the victim arrived home. No suspects at this time.

Arrested: Michael E. Martinez Jr. (20 YOA) 6325 Vuelta Ventura Santa Fe, NM
On December 8, 2007 at approximately 3:00 pm the above subject was the driver of a vehicle involved in a motor vehicle crash (hit &run) on Lopez. The above subject fled the scene of the crash and was followed by the driver of the second vehicle involved to 1301 Siler Road where he abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot with his 2 year old son who was also in the vehicle. The subject was later located hiding in a business on Cerrillos Road with the two year old child. The subject was positivly identified as the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash and was placed into custody. The subject admitted to driving the vehicle and advised that he panicked because he did not have a drivers license. The above subject was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the charges of Abondonment or abuse of a child, Leaving the scene of an accident, driver to be licensed, following too closely and no insurance.

On Dec. 8, 2007 the above subject was involved in a motor vehicle crash in which she left the scene. A short time later she was located in the area and admitted to driving the vehicle involved in the crash. Subject showed signs of impairment and was placed into custody and submitted to a breath test. The results of the breath test showed that she had consumed twice the legal limit. The above subject was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the charges of Agg. DWI, Careless Driving and Leaving the scene of an accident as well as a Magistrate Court Warrant for failure to appear.

Victim reported that home was burglarizied. no signs of forced entry. Suspects stole a safe and it's contents. There is no suspect information at this time.

Suspect was contacted after he attemp[ted leaving his home while intoxicated. Law enforcement was called by girlfriend. Upon contacting suspect he was found to have an active warrant out of Magistrate Court for failure to appear. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Victim: white male, 82 years old
Victim was discovered by wife gasping for air. The deceased suffered with diabetes, high blood pressure and was reported just not feeling well. No signs of foul play was observed by medical personnel, law enforcement or OMI. OMI arrived and took over scene.
