On 10-31-2007 at at 10:35 PM, the suspect was involved in a two vehicle collision at the location.  The suspect crossed left of the center divide line and struck another vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  There was an open bottle of Corona beer in the suspect's vehicle.  The driver of the second vehicle transpotrted to St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment of neck pain.

Suspect:  Male Juvenile, 17, Glorieta, NM

Charged:  DWI, Taillamps Required, Display of Registration, Mandatory Proof of

               Financial Responsibility, Open Container

On 10-31-2007, the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location with non-operational taillamps.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request and the registration was not on file.  There were also open containers of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  There were also seven other juveniles in the vehicle, three of whom were under the influence of intoxicating liquor.  All of the juveniles were released to the custody of a responsible adult per the Juvenile Probation Office

On the above date, the above named defendant was arrested on a District Court Order on a felony warrant for DWI.  He was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

School Official's made contact with the above student after they were advised of a possible threat made by the student. It was discovered that the student had a BB gun in his backpack and was found in possession of a folding pocket knife.

Charged:  Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Careless Driving

On 10-30-2007 at 10:04, the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and went straight in a mandatory right turn lane.  The suspect then continued north, driving on the right shoulder of the roadway.  The suspect was then paced at 60 miles per hour in a posted 40 mile per hour zone.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico driver's license is revoked with the arrest clause attached.

Property stolen:  3 stolen checks, sapphire earrings, white gold earrings

Victim called to report 3 missing checks and sets of earrings missing from her residence.  She found out her checks were missing by a message stating her check didn't clear by a male stating that she(victim) bought a car.  After speaking to the male she realized it might be her stepson and his girlfriend.  Estimated amount taken is $1900.00.

Location of arrest:  Old Airport Road & Arapaho Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Steven Jimenez, age 23, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bringing contraband into a jail, DWI, Open Container, Possession of drug parapharnalia, possession of marijuana less than 1 oz.

Vehicle:  1973 Chevrolet pickup bearing GWT767, blue in color

Dispatch received a report of a reckless driver heading west on Airport Road at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle then turned into the Shell gas station at the intersection of Airport Rd & Old Airport Rd.  The vehicle was located by Deputy Suazo and he intiated a traffic stop.  Upon contact with driver signs of impairment were observed.  SFST's were performed and signs of impairment were noted.  Suspect was then placed under arrest.  During a patdown search drug parapharnalia items were located in his front left pocket and a small baggie of marijuana.  During vehicle inventory a bottle of Crown Royal with 1/3 of contents missing was located inside the vehicle.  New Mexico Implied Consent was read and suspect was tested and Brac was .11,.11.  After transport to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center 2 marijuana roaches containing marijuana were located in the white inhaler after the driver insisted that he hold onto it for medical reasons.  Suspect was then booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Stolen: Glass Jar with Misc. Coin

The victim reported that someone had burglarized her residence by entering through the unlocked front door. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a glass jar that contained approximately $30.00 in change.

The victim reported that someone had burglarized their vehicle while it was parked at the Santa Fe Community College. The suspect(s) shattered the driver's side front window and stole an iPod Mini from inside.
