Charged: Aggravated Battery Aganist a Household Member

Deputies were dispatched to the above address regarding a male bleeding from the head, due to a fall.  The investigation revealed a domestic dispute occurred at the residence and the male was hit in the head with a cosmetic bag, which caused the laceration.  The above suspect was arrested for the above charge and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult  Detention Center.

Suspect: Michael Roybal  Age: 29  Santa Fe

Michael Roybal was arrested for Battery Against a Household Member after deputies responded to a home on North Sierra Place regarding a Domestic disturbance.  Michael had punched a Household Member in the face with a closed fist while intoxicated.  He was booked into the Adult Detention Center without further incident.

Above suspect was arrested for Aggravated DWI after being stopped for traffic lane violation and showing signs of impairment.  His BAC was .19.  A small amount of cocaine was found in the vehicle during the impoundment process.  He was charged with possession as well.

Vichle Discription: Black 2003 Pontiac Grand-Am  Unknown License Plate

Victim reports above vehicle taken by force from him on 5/10/08 at about 0600 hours.  Victim failed to report incident until mid-afternoon.  Victim sustained minor scrapes during incident and is not the registered or legal owner of the vehicle.  Victim has no paperwork to identify the vehicle and the owner could not be located.  Case is under investigation.

Location:  4600 block of Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM

On 5/9/08 victim reported that a hammer, handsaw, Sawzall, and a chainsaw were stolen from his vehicle.  Vehicle was left unlocked by owner.  Three males were seen leaving the area with the items. A neighbor had seen the 3 males and told them to leave in which they began throwing rocks at him.  Estimated amount of items taken is $900.00.


Case#:  0208003899/ Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving, Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries/ Date:  05/11/08

Location of arrest:  I-25 mm 290, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado exit)

Suspect:  Christopher Reilly, age 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving

On 5/11/08 deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the above location in reference to a head on crash involving a wrong way driver.  Contact was made with the driver in which deputy detected an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and person.  Suspect showed signs of impairment and submitted to SFST's.  He admitted to drinking 5 beers and a shot of tequila.  Suspect was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent Act.  He submitted to a breath test and his Brac was .18, .18.  He was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  The victims of the white Jeep sustained injuries and were transported to St. Vincent Hospital.

On 05-09-08 the victim reported that while he was working out at the Santa Fe Community College. The victim reported that his wallet containing his identification and credit cards was stolen. One of the credit cards was used at Peerless Tire in Santa Fe. The case is currently under investigation.

 


0208003859 Auto Burglary 05-09-08

Location: 521 Airport Rd. #210, SFNM

On the above date officer responded to the above location regarding a report of a burglary to motor vehicle.  Upon speaking with the victim, he advised that unknown person (s) stole tools from his vehicle totaling $900.00.  Three unidentified males were seen in the area prior to officer's arrival.  When the three males were confronted by the victim'e neighbor, they threw rocks at him almost striking him.  A search of the area for the males was conducted with negative results.

Charged: DWI, Stop sign Violation Improper use of registration

Suspect was observed traveling westbound on Agua Fria at a high rate of speed. the driver failed to stop at the stop sign and continued traveling west on Agua Fria until he stopped in the driveway at 2500 Lopez Lane. Upon contact with driver he displayed signs of impairment. Driver was administered field sobriety test and was placed under arrest. driver submitted to breath the results were .10/.10
