The above subject turned himself to the Santa Fe County Sheriffs Office on an outstanding District Court Warrant charging him with (3) counts of Trafficking in a controlled substances to wit: Cocaine, Oycodone, and Oxycontin, subject was transported without incident and bookend into the jail facility. Bond was set at $30,000.00 cash or surety.

Suspect: pending

Deputy responded to burglar alarm and upon arrival found forced entry through front door.  Homeowner confirmed nothing missing however entry had been gained.  Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Samuel Jurado, Edgewood, NM, age 34

On 10/17/07, victim reported she was being battered by her husband, Samuel Jurado. Samuel was seen by Deputies fleeing the residence in a blue sedan.  Samuel was stopped and he displayed signs of impairement.  A subsequent interview with the victim and witnesses alleged Mr. Jurado pushed the victim over the bed.  Samuel was arrested and booked into ADC accordingly.

On 10/17/07 the victim called and advised a male entered her home through a window. Upon arrival Deputies found that the window was still locked from inside the residence. There was also no other signs of forced entry. The area was checked and no suspects were located.
