The victim reported that when she arrived home, she located her garage door to be open. She then discovered that the above items were stolen from inside.


Case #0208000357 / Criminal Damage to Property / 1-14-08

Location: Camino Del Monte

Complainant reports that two of his roommates vehicle's, parked in his driveway, were damaged.  Rocks were thrown through the windows by unknown suspects.  Damage occurred sometime between 1/13/08 at 8:00pm and 1/14/08 at 8:52am.


Case #0208000355 / Burglary / 1-14-08

Location: Juego Road

Victim's vehicle was burglarized sometime between 6:00am and 6:30am, today.  Entry was made through an unlocked door and an inflatable mattress was stolen.  No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Location of Incident: 2254 Henry Lynch Road Sp. 54

Arrested: Jesus Hernandez (27 YOA) 2254 Henry Lynch Road, Santa Fe, NM 87502

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at the above location.  Suspect had slapped the victim and held her against her will.  Suspect then attempted to conceal his true identity to investigating deputy.

Location of Incident: 3140 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Arrested: Eric Boylan (28 YOA) 1400 Boylan, Santa Fe, NM 87505

Subject was a passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped for a traffic violation.  Subject was found to have two outstanding warrants.  He was taken into custody and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location of Incident: 38 Evergreen #13/El Rancho, Santa Fe, NM 87506

Arrested: Nathaniel Richardson (31 YOA), 19 Sandy Way, Santa Fe, NM 87506

Victim reported that suspect "pinned" him up against a fence using his vehicle suspect then fled the area and shortly after  he had rolled his vehicle.  Suspect was found to be impaired and he was subsequently taken into custody.

Victim reported that she was battered and sexually assaulted by her former husband while they had met to discuss outstanding debts.  The Criminal Investigations Unit assumed the investigation.


Case #0208000163 / Criminal Sexual Penetration / 1-7-08

Location: Camino Justicia

On 1/7/09, an inmate at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center reported he had been repeatedly sexually assaulted since he was incarcerated on 12/15/07.  Criminal Investigations Division assumed the investigation.


0208000336/Receiving or Transferring a Stolem Motor Vehicle/DWI

Location of Incident: 1009 St. Francis Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87501

Arrested: Gavino Cavitt (23 YOA) 325 Montezuma St., Las Vegas NM 87701

The suspect was stopped and found to be impaired and taken into custody for DWI.  the vehicle has signs that the ignition had been tampered with  The vehicle was later reported stolen out of Las Vegas NM.

Location: Los Chavez / Edgewood, NM

Suspect: Pending

Deputies and fire personnel responded to a structure fire at above location. A residence and vehicle were both found to be actively burning upon arrival. The fires were extinguished and the cause of the fire is beleived to be arson. The case is open and under investgiation. The State Fire Marshall's Office was on-scene working to determine the exact cause of the fires.
