Deputies responded to the Dairyqueen in Edgewood in reference to a stabbing victim. Victim had been stabbed and his wallet was taken across StateRoad 344 from the Dairyqueen. Victim's injury was to his stomach and not life threatening. Case is under investigation.

On the above date, the above officder responded to the above location regarding a burglary investigation. Victim reported that unknown person(s) kicked open the door to the residence and stole approximately 450 DVD's and CD's. Supect(s) then kicked open the rear door and stole an IBM laptop computer, an HP calculator, an antique gold bracelet and a folder containing financial paperwork to include two check books. Some evidence was recovered at the scene.

Information was received from the State of North Carolina that the above subject was residing in the Santa Fe County area. Warrants Division agents began investigation and surveillance for the suspect. On this date the subject was seen on St. Francis Drive. He was stopped and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on Fugitive from Justice pending extradition on the North Carolina, Charging him with Robbery and Failure to comply with conditions of Probation. He had a $50,000.00 bond on the North Carolina charge.
