Above subject was involved in a motor vehicle crash and fled the scene on foot.  Subject was located walking approx. 1/4 mile from the crash scene and had minor visible injuries consistant with being involved in the crash.  Subject later admitted to driving the vehicle and being involved in the crash. Subject had signs of impairment and was given field sobriety tests.  Subject was placed into custody for Agg. DWI, Reckless Driving, and leaving the scene of a crash. 


Battery Aginst household member

 Victim reported that on Sunday October 21, 2007 she asked her husband for her keys and that she pleeded for him to give them to her when he bacame angry and struck her in the haed with his fist several times causing several large contusions. suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa fe County Detention Center on Above charges. Victim was treated at the hospital and released.


Auto Burglary

Victim reported that on Sunday October 21, 2007 unknown suspects broke into her 2002 Jeep Liberty by shattering a left side passenger window. Once inside the suspects removed $5.00 in change from the ashtray.

Victim reported that on Sunday October 21, 2007 a unknown male in a teal in color Camaro went to his residence and was asking for the victims sister. When victim confronted male the male pulled a hand gun and told the victim "do you want to intom the Field" The suspect then fled thwe area. Victim was highly intoxicated at time of incident.

Victim left out of town and was advised by his nieghbor that his 1999 Subaru Forester silver in color was missing from the front yard. The Subaru is bearing CSC-525.

Victim reported his 2003 White Ford F350 stolen. He believes that his niece may have taken the vehicle. The vehicle has a 5th wheel tailgate.

Suspect: Shane Maestas    age 21

The suspect was involved in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. He made threats of suicide and ran out and laid in the middle of the interstate. Suspect was then located. It was determined that he was driving. It was also determined that he was impaired. Driver was arrested for DWI

On above date unknown suspect(s) entered above address by prying the front door with a crow bar by breaking the door jam.  Once inside suspect(s) took a silver in color flat screen TV.  Suspect(s) fled through front door.  Unknown on estimated amount of TV.

On 10/20/07, unknown suspect(s) used a crow bar to gain entry into the front door of the residence.  Alarm went off and suspects fled area in an unknown direction of travel.  Damage to front door is unknown at this time.

Above subject was observed traveling east on Jaguar Drive in a white Ford Ranger Pick-up bearing NM 495NZS.  Subject failed to maintain lane and a traffic stop was made.  Upon contact with driver she showed signs of impairment and was asked to perform standard field sobriety tests.  Upon compleating the tests she showed further signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and submitted to a breath test which showed a result of a .16, .16 BrAC.
