Victim reported that sometime between 7:00am on 9/1/07 and 6:30pm on 9/8/07, unknown person(s) UNLAWFULLY gained entry to residence, by kicking in the front door, and stole 2 flat screen TV's, computer, 30 DVD/CD's, valued at $5,300.00. Investigation continues.

Victim reported that sometime between 8:30am and 5:30pm on 9/7/07, unknown person (s), UNLAWFULLY GAINED ENTRY to residence and stole over $10,000.00 worth of property to include tv, dvd,computer,large amounts of misc jewelry. Investigation continues.

Victim reported that sometime between 11:15am and 4:15pm on 9/7/07, unknown person(s) unlawfully gained entry to the residence and stole appox $12,900.00 worth of computers, tv sets, stereos, silverware, jewelry, etc, Investigation continues.

Charged:  Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Cocaine, Concealing Identity

On 9-7-2007, at 8:36 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location with an expired registration.  The suspect provided a false name and was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine.

Suspect:  Carlos Montoya, 35, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Driver Must be icensed, Display of

               Registration, Mandatory Financial Responsibility

On 9-7-2007 at 5:34 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the locationand and failed to stop for a posted stop sign.  The suspect was also unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greatewr.  The suspect's New Mexico driver's license was found to be expired as was the vehicle registration.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

On 9-6-2007, the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location displaying an expired registration.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect.

               be Licensed, Mandatory Financial Responsibility, Warrant - Failure to Pay

On 9-6-2007, at 7:23 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location at 41 miles per hour in a posted 25 mile per hour zone.  Upon contact, the suspect gave a ficticious name and date of birth.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that there was no driver's license on file for the suspect and the registration was also not on file.  A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed that on 7-27-2007, Santa Fe County Magistrate Judge Richard Padilla issued a warrant for the suspect's arrest.

On 9-6-2007 at 7:07 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign.  A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed there was a valid warrant for the suspect's arrest which had been issued by the Sandoval County Magistrate Court.
