Arrested: Daven Quintana (35 YO) 

Deputies observed a vehicle at the intersection of Agua Fria and Henry Lynch with the driver asleep at the wheel. The vehicle was still in motion and rolling slowly through the intersection. Deputies initiated a stop, and upon waking up, the driver drove off the roadway and into an arroyo. Contact was made with the driver again and signs of impairment were observed. Chemical testing resulted in 0.12, 0.13 BAC. The driver was arrested and booked into the detention facility. 


Case #2025000184 // Battery & Criminal Damage Against a Household Member - 1/10/2025

Arrested: Jaime Manjarrez (44 YO) 

Deputies responded to the address in reference to a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed the victims husband had hit her with an object, and broke a TV in the residence. Suspect was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case #202500181, 182 // Warrant Arrest - 1/10/2025

Arrested: Johnny Moreno (50 YO) 

Traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver who was identified and showed active warrants. Warrants were for failure to appear on the original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card, and criminal trespass. 


Case #2025000183 // Warrant Arrest - 1/10/2025

Arrested: David Tafoya (50 YO) 

Deputy conducted a traffic stop. Contact was made with the driver who was found to have a warrant for failure to appear on various traffic violations. Driver was arrested and booked on the warrant. 


2025000178 Possession of a controlled substance 1-10-2025

Deputy Assigned: John Corley

Supervisor Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Shane Sanchez     Age: 39     Santa Fe, NM

Depities responded to the jail after an inmate was found in possession of controlled substances. Upon arriving, inmate Shane Sanchez was said to have been found in possession of a controlled substance. Sanchez was rebooked with the additional charges


2025000180 / Driving while license is revoked / 1/10/2025

Location: US 84/285 milepost 183  Santa Fe County

Arrested: Alejandro Croff      Age: 26   Santa Cruz

A Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputy initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. Upon contacting the driver, he was found to be operating his vehicle while his license was revoked due to a prior DWI. Croff was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center 


202500174 / Robbery / 1-10-2025

Deputy Assigned: Joshua Thomas

Supervisor Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: Old Pecos Trail and Rabbit Road

The victim called law enforcement after two males stopped him while he was operating his motor vehicle. The victim reported that once he was stopped the males assaulted him with a firearm and proceeded to beat him taking his vehicle by force. Deputies located the vehicle on US Hwy 285 near the county line abandonded. The case is under investigation.

Location: NM 599 Frontage Road - Barosa Lane Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Gail Stratton     Age: 82   Santa Fe, NM  

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a welfare check. Upon arriving, deputies located a female who had crashed her vehicle and displayed signs of impairment. Sobriety testing was attempted but refused. The female was given chemical testing with the results were .09, .09. Ms. Strattoon was booked accordingly at the jail.

Location Tesuque Village Market

Items Stolen: Purse and contents

Deputies responded to the location in reference a motor vehicle burglary. Upon arriving, the victim reported that unknown persons forced entry into the vehicle and stole the liisted items. Case is under investigation.


Case 2025000157/Driving while license revoked/1-10-2025

Location: Riverside Dr/ Corlett Rd, Espanola, NM 

Arrested: Carlos Reano 19 YOM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver had a confirmed revoked driver's license due to a previous DUI. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.
