Location- Cowboy Ln (Arroyo Seco)

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a larceny. After investigation, deputies learned that a catalytic converter was cut off from a vehicle. Deputies also learned that there had been a burlary at the residence. The investigation is still ongoing.

Case #2024005280 / False Imprisonment/ 10/6/24

Arrested- Robert Helton Jr (65 year old male/ Edgewood)

Location- Comanche Ct (Edgewood)

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic dispute. Deputies learned that Mr. Helton had prevented his wife from leaving, and he was arrested. Mr. Helton was later booked at ADC. 

Case 2024005277- Burglary- 10/6/24

Location: 1700-BLK of NM HWY 502 

Victim:  68 YOM

Stolen: 4 floor jacks 

Suspect vehicle: Lifted white pickup truck with a headache rack and loud exhaust 

Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding a burglary. The reporting party advised an unknown suspect(s) broke into the car wash and took 400 dollars worth of property. The reporting party provided the above description of the suspect's vehicle. There is no further information at this time. 

Case 2024005272- Driving Under The Influence (DUI)-10/6/24

Location: Delaware Ln, Santa Fe

Arrested: Kiana Jupiter 29 YOF

Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding a suspicious vehicle in the area. Deputies made contact with the driver identified as Kiana who showed signs of impairment. Kiana was arrested for DUI and booked into Santa Fe ADC 

Case# 2024005273 Warrant Service

Assigned: R. Blea

Location: 900 block of Camino Vista Aurora (Agua Fria)

Arrested:Michael Busse Jr. 46 yoa male (Santa Fe)
 

Subject was located in a cul-de-sac after RECC received a suspicious person call. Subject was found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court. No other criminal activity was located. Subject was taken to SFADC without incident. 

Case#2024005269/Driving While License Revoked/10-5-24

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: NM599, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Luis Salas-Cadelas, 46YOM, Albuquerque, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop, it was learned through an MVD inquiry that the driver's license had been revoked based on a prior DWI. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly without incident. The vehicle was released to the passenger.

Location: 177 Block of US 84/285, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Peter Trujillo, 40YOM, Chimayo, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop, it was learned that the driver's driver license had been revoked due to a past DWI. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly without incident. The vehicle was released to the passenger. 

Case #2024005266 / Burgalry - Larceny / 10/05/2024

Location: Plant Farm Rd

Stolen: Television

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary.  The victim advised the home had been vacant for approximately 9 years.  It is unknown when the bruglary occurred, however,, a TV set had been taken from the residence.  The victim stated she believes there may have been someone staying in the residence during that period of time.

Case #2024005265 / Driving Under the Influence (DUI) - Careless Driving / 10/05/2024

Location: #52 County Road 106

Arrested: Jordan Z. Cervantes (19 YOM)

Deputies were dispatched to the location of 52 CR 106 in reference to a possible motor vehicle collision. Deputies made contact with the driver (Mr. Cervantes) and conducted SFST's.  Signs of impairment were observed and Mr. Cervantes was taken into custody without incident.

Decedent: 43 YOF

Deputies were dispatched to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Medical personnel arrived and determined the patient was beyond all life-saving measures. OMI responded and performed a separate investigation.  There was no suspicious activity identified.
