The subject arrived and checked into pre-trial services. It was learned she had an active warrant for her arrest issued out of Rio Arriba Magistrate Court. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident. 

Case #2024001564 / Missing Person / 3/25/24

Location: Avenida De Luis (Santa Fe County)

Missing: Eric Lara (29 YOA)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a missing person. The reporting person stated the missing had left the residence on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m. and was expected to return that evening. The missing was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black, long sleeve tee-shirt, and black Jordan shoes. The missing was entered into NCIC.

Case #2024001541 Larceny over $2,500

Location: Avenida Del Sur/NM 14, Santa Fe

Deputies were flagged down at the location in reference to a larceny. Deputies were advised the reporting party had been given a ride to the area after a trip. The victim placed her luggage on the ground next to a vehicle while waiting for another ride. The victim forgot to pick up her luggage. The victim returned to the location and observed her luggage was missing. No suspect information at this time.

Case #2024001537 Burglary, Larceny

Location: Deans Court, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Deputies were advised an unknown female entered an unlocked vehicle on the property. The suspect then stole a backpack from within the vehicle. The female was observed near the property on a security camera. The female was Caucasian, 25 to 30 years old, and had long black hair. The female was wearing blue jeans, a brown coat, and a black Under Armour hoodie.

Case#2024001532/Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Larceny/3-23-24

Location Tesuque Village Road, Santa Fe, NM

Items Stolen: Purse, Cell Phone, and Misc. Documents (Total Value $1,700.00)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a motor vehicle burglary. Upon arrival, they learned that an unknown suspect reached into the parked car's window and took the above items. 

Case#2024001533/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/3-23-24

Location: Agua Fria and San Ysidro Crossing, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 1994 Gray Nissan Maxima

Deputies were dispatched to the above location due to a motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival, it was learned that the victim had left his vehicle unattended, with the door open and running, when a female suspect unlawfully took it. Deputies attempted to locate the vehicle in the area but were unsuccessful. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.

Case#2024001528/Burglary, Larceny, and Criminal Damage to Property/03/23/2024

Stolen Items: Arc Welder and Misc. Tools (Total Value $21,000)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained entry into the garage by damaging a padlock. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole the above-mentioned items.

Items Stolen: Skis and Bindings

Deputies were dispatched regarding a theft. Upon arrival, it was learned that the victim had gone skiing; the victim placed her skis on the available ski rack, but when she returned, the skis were missing. The victim attempted to locate the skis at the lost and found, but she was unsuccessful.

Arrested: David Been, 48 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check due to people yelling inside of a residence. Deputies observed a vehicle leaving the residence the welfare check was located at and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Summonsed: Joel Ibarra, 38YOM, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above address regarding a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the driver. Through investigation, it was learned that the individual had lied about his name due to having a traffic warrant. The subject will be summonsed into Santa Fe Magistrate Court.
