2022006874/ AGG. FLEEING FROM AN OFFICER, RESISTING ARREST AND DRIVING THE WRONG WAY ON A HIGHWAY

ARRESTEE: FRANCISCO ARREDONDO- 35-YEAR-OLD/ H/M, ALBUQUERQUE, NM RESIDENT

On 11-26-22 at about 3:45 a.m., RECC received a call about a wrong way driver coming in from Sandoval County. The vehicle was found as it almost crashed head on into Santa Fe County Deputy Cody Lattin in the construction zone on Interstate 25. A short time later, the vehicle was stopped without incident. The driver identified as Francisco Arredondo. The driver was arrested without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. 


2022006872/ UNLAWFUL TAKING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

ASSIGNED DEPUTY: EDGAR MADRID

ENTERING COMMANDER: SGT. CLAY CULLISON

LOCATION: CAMINO VISTA AURORA

On 11-26-22, Deputy Edgar Madrid responded to a residence on Camino Vista Aurora reference to a stolen truck. The truck was parked on the roadway curb in front of the owner's home on the 23rd of November but was found to be gone on today's date. No suspect information is known at this time. The case is under investigation.  


2022006869/ POSS. OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE- FENTANYL & TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE

LOCATION: 28 CAMINO JUSTICIA

ARRESTEE: MARIO MUNIZ- 34-YEAR-OLD, H/M, SANTA FE RESIDENT

On 11-25-22, in the evening hours, Deputy Joseph Lujan responded to the adult detention center, where an inmate was found with substance identifying as Fentanyl. The inmate was identified as Mario Muniz. Muniz was found to have attempted to dispose of the Fentanyl. Muniz was charged with Possession of controlled substance- Fentanyl and Tampering with evidence. Muniz was rebooked on the charges.

Location: 55 Ogo Wii (Roadrunner RV Park)

Stolen: Jewelry, Mattresses, TVs x 2, 

Deputy dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned unknown suspect(s) entered the RV sometime between 11/20/22 and 11/25/22. It was determined the suspect(s) broke the door lock stealing the above items. Investigation is on-going.

Arrested: Anthony Nieto, 35YOM, Santa Fe

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the county jail in reference to a male who had an active arrest warrant. The above subject's ID was verified and it was determined that the subject did have a warrant for his arrest. Subject was re-booked for the warrant (original charges- Criminal Trespass and Shoplifting)

Vehicle: 2018 Toyota, Tacoma (Dark Green)

On above date, deputies responded to a reported stolen motor vehicle. Victim stated the above vehicle was stolen on November 24, 2022. No other information is available at this time. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.


Case#2022006847/Criminal damage to property and Larceny/11-24-22

Location: 7 Colina Dr. Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 19 Propane Tanks

Deputies were dispatched to the above business in reference to a larceny. While conducting their investigation, it was learned unknown suspect(s) removed about 19 full propane tanks by cutting the lock to the lockers. This case remains under investigation.


2022006858/ AGG. DWI, OPEN CONTAINER AND ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

ASSIGED DEPUTY: MARCUS WARD

LOCATION: I-25 NB/ MM 271

ARRESTEE: KAYLA PLAZOLA-32-YEAR-OLD W/F, SANTA FE RESIDENT

On 11-24-2022 in the late evening hours, Deputy Ward conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle. The driver, Plazola was unable to maintain her lane traffic. Upon contact, Plazola showed signs of impairment. Open container of an alcoholic beverage was found in the vehicle. 

Upon admission of consuming some beer, SFSTs were conducted, where signs of impairment were observed. Plazola was arrested and submitted to a chemical test, which yielded the results of 0.18g/210L and 0.18g/210L respectfully. Plazola was booked into the Sana Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.  


2022006859/ Death Investigtion

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Commander Entering: Cpl. G. Nieto

Location: Avenida Aldea.

Victim: 83 YOF

Deputies responded to the above area in reference to an individual unconscious and not breathing. Unfortunately, the female did not display any signs of life. OMI responded to the scene and pronounced the female deceased. At this time, the death appears to be of natural causes.


2022006855/ Battery against a household member/ 11-24-2022

Suspect: Anthony Garcia, 40 YO Male, Santa Fe

Location: NM 14

Deputies dispatched to a domestic. Deputies located the suspect and Through the investigation it was learned the suspect battered the victim, a household member. Suspect arrested and booked into SFCADC.
