Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plate. The driver was found to be in possession of a narcotic. The driver also refused to properly identify herself to the Deputies. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies arrived at District Court this morning. During opening procedures, it was discovered unknown suspect(s) broke a glass window to the courthouse lobby. Surveillance footage revealed two highly intoxicated male suspects on the property during the early morning hours trying to cause more damage. One suspect forced open the exit door to the lobby but was unable to enter at the secondary doors. Attempts to identify the male suspects are ongoing.

Deputies contacted Ms. Chavez after Law Enforcement was called to conduct a welfare check. Upon contacting Ms. Chavez, she was found to have an active arrest warrant. Ms. Chavez was booked in to the Santa Fe County Jail without incident.
