Deceased: 81 yoa female
Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at the location as neighbors had not seen or heard from the female since May 31,2024. Upon arrival, Deputies located the female deceased. It appeared she had been deceased for some time as she was in advanced stages of decomposition. OMI came to the scene and took custody of the deceased. There were no signs of foul play. Next of kin notification is still pending.

Location: 4000 block of Agua Fria St. (Santa Fe)
Deceased: 61 year old male
Subject was found deceased in his home by a friend. Investigation revealed the deceased had several serious medical issues and was not following medical advice. No signs of foul play were noted and OMI took possession of the deceased.
Case # 2024003161 Warrant Arrest 06-21-24

Location: Camino Tierra Real (Santa Fe)
Arrested: Taniva R. Lopez 29 yoa female (Santa Fe)
Subject was contacted while on a close patrol of the area. Subject was found to have an active arrest warrant issued by Santa Fe Municipal Court for Shoplifting. She was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.
Case 2024003171-Embezzlement over $500 under $2500-6/21/2024

Location: Area of Little Island Rd
Suspect: D. Martinez 59 YOM
Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding fraudulent activity. D. Martinez sold rocks fraudulently to convert the money to his use, depriving his brother of the value. The rocks were on property exclusively owned by the victim.

Decedent: 47 YOM
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest. Medics were already on scene when Deputies arrived and advised the patient was beyond life-saving measures. An investigation was conducted and no signs of foul play were identified. OMI performed a separate investigation and concurred with the Deputies findings.

Arrested: David Hernandez (42 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to the location for a male sleeping in the entry area. Male was identified and found to have a warrant for a probation violation on the original charge of breaking and entering and was booked at the detention center.

Arrested: Bryan Dominguez (26 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a vehicle in the parking lot that wasn't supposed to be there. Deputies made contact with the driver who admitted to drinking prior to driving, and also had the intention of driving home. Driver agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment, but refused a breath test. He was charged accordingly.

Deceased: 28 yoa male
Deputies were dispatched to a possibe overdose at the location; Upon arrival the subject was found deceased. The death appeared to be related to substance abuse issues as there was illegal substances located in close proximity to the deceased. OMI took possession of the subject and the subject will undergo an autopsy. No foul play is suspected at this time.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)
The victim who is an inmate at Santa Fe ADC, reported that on 6/18 he was knocked unconscious from being hit in the head with a cordless phone. The victim alleged when he woke up he had different boxers and believed he was sexually assaulted. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital for evaluation. Further follow-up is needed at this time.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the subject due to a traffic infraction. A check was performed by Santa Fe RECC and it was discovered the subject had an active arrest warrant. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility.
