Stolen item: Glock 42 /.380

Deputies took a report regarding a motor vehicle burglary. The victim advised that sometime between the 15th and the 22nd of August an unknown suspect(s) entered her Jeep Cherokee and stole a backpack that contained her Glock 42 in .380 caliber.  


Case #2024004403 Battery Against a Household Member

Location: Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe

Arrested: Richard Lujan, 34 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a 911 call. Deputies were advised a female was asking for help with a drunk male. Deputies arrived at the location and contacted the calling party. The calling party advised her husband was drunk and had battered her. The male was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case #2024004405 Aggravated DWI, Driving While License Revoked, Speeding

Location: South Meadows/Agua Fria, Santa Fe

Arrested: Eric Martinez, 45 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Deputies observed the driver to have signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.  


Case #2024004406 Receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle

Deputy Assigned: A. Pool

Location: Kicks 66 Gas Station, Santa Fe

Arrested: Keith Capps, 34 YOA male, Veguita NM

Deputies responded to the location to assist Pojoaque Police with a stolen vehicle. Deputies were advised Pojoaque Police received a notice of a stolen vehicle from their license plate reader. The vehicle was located at the gas station and officers made contact with the driver of the stolen vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case#2024004393/Fraud and Forgery x 3/8/24/2024

Assigned: R Vallejo

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: Horseshoe Loop, Edgewood, NM

Suspect: Joshua Salyer, 20YOM, Edgewood, NM

Deputies were dispatched to make telephone contact with the victim. The victim stated that the suspect had signed (the victim's name) and attempted to deposit three of her checks into the suspect's bank account. Two out of the three checks were able to be deposited into the suspect's bank account, and one check was declined. Totaling $650.00. The victim stated that she wished to pursue charges for the matter. The suspect was summonsed on the above charges. 


Case #2024004391 Possession of a Controlled Substance

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

Arrested: Angelica Munoz, 30 YOA female, Bernalillo

Deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility in reference to a narcotics violation. Deputies were advised jail staff conducted a search of a female that had been brought into the facility. During the search the suspect was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The female was rebooked into the facility accordingly.  


Case#2024004388/Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage, and Larceny/8-23-2024

Assigned: D Rodriguez

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: Tesuque Village Road, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen/Damaged: $5,000.00 cash and vehicle window

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the victim had recently withdrawn cash from the bank and drove to the above location. While inside the location, an unknown suspect(s) broke his vehicle's window and took the money. 


Case#2024004384/Criminal Damage to Property and Larceny/8-23-24

Location: Waldo Street, Cerrillos, NM

Summonsed: Michael Barker, 31YOM, Cerrillos, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to criminal damage to property and larceny. Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim's tenant had caused about $30,000 in damage to the residence and took several items, including artwork. The subject was summonsed into court for the above charges. 

 


Case #2024004377 DWI, Open Container

Location: Ogo Wii Road, Santa Fe

Arrested: Feliciana Roybal, 44 YOA female, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police with a possible DWI. Deputies were advised the driver of the vehicle was non-Native American. Deputies contacted the driver. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case#2024004373/Aggravated DWI/8-22-24

Assigned: R Vallejo

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: NM Hwy 4 and Jemez Road, Los Alamos, NM

Arrested: James Romero, 49YOM, Albuquerque, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a possible DWI. Upon arrival, contact was made with LANL Security, who stated the suspect drove up to their security checkpoint and smelled of a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage. Deputies made contact with the suspect, who had blood shot, watery eyes, slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol. SFSTs were conducted, and signs of impairment were observed. The subject was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly.
