Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to an individual passing away. Victim had suffered from cancer and had a DNR in place. OMI arrived and advised there were no signs of foul play.
Case #2024004286 // Abuse of a Child, Aggravated Battery Against a HHM - 8/17/2024

Suspect: Kenneth Blake (24 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed the suspect and victim got into an argument and the suspect punched the victim several times, while she was holding a two-month-old baby. Suspect fled the residence prior to law enforcement arrival. An arrest warrant was drafted and approved for the suspect.

Arrested: Isaiah Vigil (29 YOM)
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a male slumped over at the wheel. The vehicle was parked in the middle of traffic. SFSTs were administered and the suspect showed signs of impairment. Mr. Vigil was placed in custody and transported to the Sheriff's Office for chemical testing. A partially consumed 750 ML bottle of Crown Royal was located in the vehicle during a tow inventory. Mr. Vigil was booked accordingly.

Location: TP 804/US 84-284 Frontage, Santa Fe
Arrested: Raymond Ortega, 37 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were requested to assist Tesuque Tribal Police on a traffic stop with a non-Native American driver. Deputies were advised the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver was also found to have a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case #2024004274 Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle

Location: 268 Mile Marker Interstate 25, Santa Fe
Deputies received a call for a stolen vehicle. The victim stated her vehicle had broken down I25 at the top of La Bajada. The victim stated she returned at a later date and observed the vehicle was missing. There was no record of the vehicle being towed. No suspect information at this time.

Trafic stop was conducted on vehicle for not stopping at stop sign. Driver was driving on an invalid-Revoked license due to a prior DWI. Vehicle was not registered or insured and an open alcoholic container was located inside. Driver was arrested and boked into SF ADC with out incident.

Victim stated he noticed his catalytic converter was removed from his vehicle on 8/14/2024. It is unknown who may have stole it. case is under investigation.
Case #2024004226 Fraud

Location: Calle Nopal, Santa Fe
Deputies received a call in regards to a fraud. Deputies were advised unknown males called claiming to be Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office Deputies. The males told the victim he missed court, and would be arrested if he did not provide them with money cards from Walmart. The victim provided the suspects with the money cards prior to realizing it was a scam. The suspects are unknown at this time.
Case#2024004217/Driving while license revoked and speeding/8-14-24

Arrested: Cesar Rodriguez, 25YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop, it was learned the driver's drivers license had been revoked due to a past DWI. The driver was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.

Deputies were in the area and made contact with a suspicious female. The female was identified and found to have a warrant for failure to pay fines on the original charge of resisting/evading. As the female was being placed in handcuffs, she pulled away from Deputies resisting arrest. Female was booked accordingly.
