Deputies were dispatched to ADC in reference to a narcotics violation. Upon investigation, it was learned the inmate intentionally got arrested so he could bring contraband into the jail and distribute the contraband to another inmate. The inmate was rebooked accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to a traffic stop that was conducted by a BIA officer. Upon contact with the driver it was believed he was under the influence. SFST's were administered and the driver was arrested and booked. This case is under investigation.
2022002282/Agg Battery on HHM/4-15-2022

On Friday, April 15, 2022, at approximately 7:23 pm, Deputies were dispatched to NM 14 and Bonanza Creek Rd in reference to a domestic disturbance. Multiple calls were received about a male beating up a female on the side of the road. Deputies arrived to the location and both parties were located. A witness on scene advised she observed the male strangling the female and punching her in the face with a closed fist.
Evidence located during the investigation corroborated with the witness and victims statements. Suspect was arrested for above charges and transported to ADC without incident. The female victim had three outstanding warrants for her arrest and was transported to ADC as well.

Deputy observed three suspicious subjects sitting in a vehicle parked a DeVargas mall. Upon approach, Deputy observed three subjects sitting in a vehicle at DeVargas Mall. When the deputy approached the driver was holding tinfoil with Fentanyl residue on it along with a partially burnt Fentanyl pill on the tinfoil. The driver tried to hide the substance under his leg. All subjects were detained. Where the passenger was sitting was a Fentanyl pill in plain view.The driver and passenger were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On the above date, Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a larceny from a Temple. The temple is open 24 hours a day and 365 days a week with members being allowed in at any time. Several items were taken from the location and the exact time frame is not known. There are no known suspects at this time.
