Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for expired registration. The subject was driving the vehicle and had a confirmed revoked driver's license for a DUI-related charge. The Subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Location: US 84/285 MM 175, Santa Fe County, NM

Arrested: David Padilla, 43YOM, Las Vegas, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop, it was learned the driver's license had been revoked due to a prior DWI. Subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly.

Contact with the subject was made during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear with the original charges of Display of current mandatory financial responsibility. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


Case 2024006354/Driving while license revoked, Speeding/ 11-30-24

Deputies conducted a traffic in the area for speeding and made contact with the driver. The driver had a confirmed revoked driver's license, DUI-related. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


Case 2024006352/Driving while license revoked, Open container, Failed to yield at traffic signal/ 11-30-24

Assigned: J. Flores- Ramirez

Location: HWY 14/ NM 599

Arrested: James Sandoval 51 YOM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area and made contact with the driver. The driver had a confirmed revoked driver's license, DUI-related. During an inventory of the vehicle, two open containers were located. The vehicle was towed from the location and the driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an ambulance assist.  Deputies took over the investigation. OMI arrived and conducted their investigation. Foul play is not suspected. 


Case #2024006341 // Receiving/Transferring a Stolen MV - 11/29/2024

Arrested: Sharon Asige Gloetzner (22 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to the Allsups in reference to a welfare check for a female who was asleep in a vehicle. Deputies arrived on scene and while making contact, discovered the vehicle was stolen out of APD. Driver was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case #2024006332 // Unattended Death - 11/28/2024

Deceased: Gurudatta Khalsa (71 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to the address to assist Santa Fe County Medics with a male who had passed away. During the investigation, Deputies discovered the victim suffered from ongoing medical conditions. No foul play was suspected. 


2024006312 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal damage to property / 11-27-2024

Location: Camino Del Rincon Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)

Victim:55 YOF

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a barn by cutting a hole in the building. Once inside they stole numerous items. Attempts to identify all stolen items is ongoing. Case in under investigation.


Case #2024006310 // Criminal Damage to Property - 11/27/2024

Location: Old Las Vegas Highway

Damaged: Security bars and window (Valued at $6500)

Deputies were dispatched to a business alarm. Upon arrival on scene damage was observed to a window, and the security bars on it. Deputies advised the suspect did not appear to gained entry inside. Case will remain under investigation.
