Location: West Gutierrez Street, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and were advised the reporting parties boyfriend had kicked in the door. The reporting party advised the male then raised his fist as if he was going to strike the reporting party. Deputies are obtaining a warrant for the suspect.


Case 2024000741 DWI/Roadways lanes for traffic/Speeding

Arrested Jeff Montoya 56YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

US 84-285/MM 181

Vehicle was observed traveling over the posted speed limit. Prior to conducting a traffic stop, the vehicle was observed to be driving within the two lanes of travel. Traffic stop was conducted and contact with the driver was made. Driver agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and agred to chemical testing. Results were 0.16g/210L-0.15g/210L.. Driver was booked into SF ADC with out incident. 


Case 2024000736 -Death investigation

Deceased 80 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a respiratory/cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, deputies learned the deceased had a medical history. Foul play or suspicious circumstances are not suspected. OMI arrived on the scene. 


case #2024000728/ Larceny over $2500/2-8-2024

Location: A Van Nu Poe and Ave. Del Sur, in Santa Fe, NM 

Vehicle: 1995 purple Ford F150

Arrested: J. Gutierrez 57 YOM

while conducting a follow-up Detectives were alerted to a Larceny in the area of the above location. A witness was able to show detectives footage of the suspect's vehicle. The suspect's vehicle was later located and the driver was found to have in his possession industrial pipe fittings taken from a TLC work site. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly. 


Case #2024000718 Burglary, Agg Stalking, False Imprisonment, Battery against a Household Member, Interference with Communications, Child Abuse X2

Location: Sunrise Road, Santa Fe

Arrested: Shawn Rivera, 45 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. The suspect had 3 active warrants and refused to answer the door for deputies. Deputies were eventually able to get the victim to answer the door. Deputies were advised the suspect had broken into the residence 2 days prior and kept the victim from leaving or calling 911. The victim had an active restraining order on the suspect at the time of the incident. The suspect also battered the victim multiple times during this incident. The suspect was arrested and booked into ADC.

Arrested Claudio Mata 54 YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

Deputies responded to location in regards to a domestic disturbance. It was learned the suspect battered victim and was place under arrest. Subject was transported and booked into SF ADC with out incident. 


Case #2024000702 / Aggravated DUI, Headlamps Required - 2/6/2024

Location: Los Quintanas Rd. (Espanola) 

Arrested: Tiffany Borth (44 YO)

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for not having headlamps on while driving. Driver showed signs of impairment while Deputies were making contact with her. Driver refused to submit to SFST's and a breath test. She was arrested and booked accordingly. 


Case #2024000700 / Aggravated DUI, Roadways Laned for Traffic - 2/6/2024

Location: US 84/285, Mile Marker 173

Arrested: Pedro Morales Barriga (46 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to assist Tesuque Tribal on a traffic stop with a possible impaired driver. Deputies attemped to have the driver perform SFST's, however they were stopped due to the driver being unable to maintain balance. Driver refused a breath test, and was arrested. 


Case#2024000693/Criminal Damage/2-6-24

Address: A Van Nu Po

Victim: Mark Johnson Center

Deputies were dispatched to a report of criminal damage to property. The property manager of the location stated he noticed their gate to be damaged and appeared the suspect(s) were attempting to access the RV parking lot adjacent to their property. Property Manager stated the value of the damage is approximately 2000 dollars.   


Case#2024000694/Burglary-Criminal Damage-Larceny/2-6-24

Address: A Van Nu Po, Santa Fe County

Victim: 50 YOM

Deputies were initially dispatched to a damaged gate. Upon investigation however, a vehicle was located with a busted window. Contact with the owner was made who confirmed someone broke into and tried to steal it. Evidence was collected and will be submitted.
