Location: Interstate 25 

Arrested: Steven Alarid 50 yoa male (Albuquerque)

At about 6:35 p.m.,SFRECC recieved multiple calls of a reckless driver on the Interstate. SFRECC advised the driver of a green Toyota Camry was operating in a reckless manner and trying to hit other vehicles. SFRECC received several calls that the Camry had stopped in the middle of the Interstate and was out of the vehicle and possibly intoxicated and armed with a handgun. The vehicle was located by deputies traveling 20 mph on the Interstate causing a traffic disruption. A traffic stop was attempted and the driver refused to stop the vehicle for appoximately 3 miles. The vehicle was spike stripped and came to a stop near St. Francis Drive. The male was taken into custody. A reporting party had dash cam video showing the vehicle being driven in a reckless manner. Subject was taken to ADC where he was booked accordingly. 

Case #2024005009 / Burglary of a Motor Vehicle - Larceny - Criminal Damage to Property / 09/22/2024

Location: 3000 BLK Agua Fria

Damaged/Stolen: Vehicle door window / Oxygen Generator ($700 Value)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary. The victim reported, while he was attending Mass, his vehicle was broken into and the above item was taken. 

Case #2024005008 / Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon / 09/22/2024

Deputy Assigned: A. Gallardo

Location: NM-14 / NM-599

Victim: 56 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an aggravated assault.  The victim advised a hispanic male and female in a red in color, Chevy Silverado, attempted to run his vehicle off of the road and then pulled out a gun on him.  The case is pending further investigation

Case #2024005004/ Aggravated DWI / 9-22-24

Assigned- Deputy M. Ward

Entering- Cpl. D. Moore

Arrested- Jose Villa (31 year old male/ Albuquerque)

Location- Cerrillos/ Siler Rd

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Mr. Villa was driving, when a traffic infraction was committed. Villa displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. His blood alcohol levels were more than twice the legal limit. He was booked at the ADC without incident.

Arrested-Jesus Alvarez-Franco 33YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

Welfare check was conducted on a suspicious vehicle and contact was made with a subject inside. . Subject had an extraditable warrant for his arrest. Subject was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.  

Case#2024004985/Burglary of a motor vehicle and Criminal Damage to Property/9-20-24

Assigned: J Thomas

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: Alamo Lane, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Vehicle insurance paperwork and keys.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival it was learned the suspects unlawfully took the above items. Deputies observed damage to the vehicle's drivers side door key slot and and the igntion. 

Case#2024004978/Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer/09-20-2024

Location: Camino Vista Aurora, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Jose Chavez, 26 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies made contact with the above subject who they believed had an active arrest warrant. When deputies approached and attempted to detain the subject, he pulled away, preventing deputies from handcuffing him. Deputies were eventually able to place the subject in custody. Subject was transported and booked accordingly without incident.

Arrested: Lorenzo Castillo, 50YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop, it was learned the driver had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly without incident—original Charges: DWI, Driving while license suspended, and roadways laned for traffic.

Arrested Benajmin Hinojos 41yom (Albuquerque, NM)

Deputies responded to a call for service on Interstate 25 where the reporting party stated he was being chased by numerous vehicles. Contact was made with the reporting party and inside his vehicle on the passenger seat were three Molotov cocktail's. Driver was placed under arrest and booked into SF ADC with out incident. 

Case 2024004928- Battery against a household member, assault against a household member, criminal damage to property-9/17/24

Location: Smokey Hill Drive, Santa Fe 

Arrested: Tommy Lucero 62 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation, deputies learned the subject had pushed his wife, made several threats to hurt her, and damaged her property. Tommy was arrested and booked into  Santa Fe ADC
