Deputies were dispatched to the location to assist Pojoaque Police on a traffic stop. The vehicle Pojoaque conducted a traffic stop with had been reported stolen. The vehicle was recovered and the driver was taken into custody. The driver also had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on no vehicle registration charges. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Location: NM14/Perro Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM 

Arrested: Humberto Chiz-Perez, 26 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During the stop the driver showed signs of impairment. SFST's were conducted and the driver preformed poorly. The driver had a BRAC of .19 g/210L. Driver was arrested, transported and booked accordingly.

Victim: 60 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a report of identity theft. Upon arrival, the victim reported that someone had used his personal information to open a Verizon account.


Case #2025000443 / Unattended Death / 1/23/2025

Location: Calle Capulin

Decedent: 21 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Medics arrived on scene and advised the patient was beyond life-saving measures.  The decedent had been ill for the last few days and was evaluated at the hospital on the 21st.  He was released the same day.  The RP advised he was looking pale and unwell a few hours prior to the RP finding the decedent unresponsive.  The decedent has a history of past drug use and paraphernalia was found in the area.  There were no signs of suspicious activity located.  OMI responded and performed a separate investigation.  .


Case 2025000419/ Warrant service/ 1-22-2025

Location: St. Francis Rd/ Sawmill Rd, Santa Fe, NM 

Arrested: Enyerven Luzardo- Perez 20 YOM

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on no proof of insurance and no driver's license charges. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident. 


2025000368/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, B&E, Driving while license revoked, DWI, Criminal damage to property / 01-20-2025

Location: Tesuque Village Rd / Arroyo Griego, Santa Fe, NM (Tesuque)

Arrested: Arguello, Manuelito 43 YOM

Deputy responded to location to investigate a stolen motor vehicle. While approaching, the vehicle was located with the suspect driving. Vehicle was stopped and the driver identified and confirmed to have a revoked driver's license due to a prior DWI. He showed signs of impairment and refused to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests but provided a breath sample of .25, .25. The vehicle was damaged during the theft. It was also learned the suspect entered the victim's house without permission prior to stealing their vehicle. Subject was placed under arrest, charged and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Arrested: Rudy Vialpando (67 YO)

Deputy conducted a traffic stop. Driver was identified and found to have a warrant for failure to appear on various traffic offenses. Driver was booked and released on recognizance. 


Case #2025000354 // Aggravated DUI, Resisting an Officer - 1/19/2025

Arrested: Jessica Springer (35 YO) 

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, contact was made with with the suspect who had high-centered her vehicle. Driver showed signs of impairment, and at one point during contact with Deputies tried to drive away. Suspect was arrested and refused chemical testing. 


Case 2025000362/ Driving while License Revoked/ 1-19-2025

Arrested: Guadalupe Parra-Olivas 44 y/o 

During the course of crash investigation, Deputies learned one of the drivers was operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, subject to arrest. Driver was arrested, transported and booked into SFADC without incident.


Case 2025000361/Burglary of Motor Vehicle/01-19-25

Victim advised that suspect(s) broke into his vehicle between the hours of 4:00 PM on Friday, Jaunary 17,and Sunday morning 11:00 AM. The suspect(s) took 2 key fobs, prescription sunglasses, mexican blanket, tote basket. The vehicle was not damaged. There is no suspect information at this time.
